I expected a completely stupid and ghetto 911 call but she's partially right for calling the police.
According to her: She wanted a refund. The restaurant did not honor her request and so she was left with an item she did not want, and no money back. Therefore, McDonalds was in the wrong, and she rightfully deserved to call the police to help delegate the issue.
However, she used 911 instead 311. I respect the woman for asserting her rights as a consumer, but use the right number next time.

In the last (small) town I resided at, had to dig through the phone book for it (listed under "government") and the office was closed at night and on weekends. Of course, so was the police station (closed after hours).
