  • I'm lookin toget one of these, 02 with 87k on it. Dealer wants 7800 for it. Thoughts on it? Message me for a link to the page.

  • @98MAzdaMilleniaS Not the new rs6 you dumbass. im talking about the rs6 from 2003 with the similiar body style to this car. they run in the 20s with a decent number of miles.

  • sounds good... gonna put up a vid soon of mine

  • @Amber1025Nicole no worries, glad everyone has an opinion. This is actually my previous car, I have an 02 S4 now. It wasn't bad for the cost, posted it so people could research some sounds and expand their options for what to do with their car, everyone has their own tastes

  • Except Dysons are reliable.

  • kinda ricey, not the deep rich burble you'd expect from a high compression engine. still... not to shabby.

  • Where did you get these exact tips?!? I have looked for an hour and cannot find these exact ones... I would very much appreciate it

  • If you don't mind could you please please send me the exact website you got these tips... i have looked for at least an hour and cannot find these exact ones and I am in love with them and doing the same thing to my 04

  • can this pass inspection?

  • @bmxtildeathneverdie Should, it's only sound. I believe I passed inspection with it, I mean the cats are still there and there's no check engine light or anything, it's only the mufflers

  • @JD797 thanks, and one more thing. did you take it somewhere to get it done? if so, then how much was everything to have them do it?

  • @bmxtildeathneverdie Yeah, just take it somewhere where they do decent welding/exhaust work, you can probably try a local mechanic if you think they'll do a good enough job. The tips I bought separately, but I had to pay for some straight piping and for labor. From what I remember, I think it came out to somewhere between 50 and 100, don't quote me on that though, lol.

  • How much did u spend on that car?? I have an Audi4 so i guess i could install the same exhaust.

  • @etshArk87 The exhaust mod was only around 100, plus the cost of the tips which I don't remember, but I also got a black trunk strip, smoked tail lights, put the rs6 spoiler on, painted the grill in front black and did cleared corners on the headlights. Oh, also got some H-sport sway bars which were awesome, but yeah, adds up.

  • I posted the video of the A6 4.6 Quattro V8. You just can't beat a V8 for sound . I just removed the rear mufflers and replaced them with custom made pipes then chrome tipped them. Very cheap. Your V6 sounds racy but a much deeper sound would be nice.

  • hey great vid whit size pipe 2.5 or 3"

  • hey man the car sounds great. Could you help me out and tell me the part number on those mufflers?

  • HAHA sounds like a supersport for 200€. but it's ok because it's an audi. can't expect much from it...

  • r32 :D

  • the turbo charged engines cost alot to maintain, bmw is the most expensive to maintain IMO

  • I hate the look of this car without the lip spoiler.

with it though, looks like a B6 S4, and sounds just as good, if not better.

  • Hey man great vid

Where did you get those tail lights from .. very cool ;)

  • @iHokie if you google "a6 smoked LED tail lights" you'll get a few hits, I didn't see the site I got them from originally, at least not on the first page, but d5concepts (7th link from the top) looked to be the cheapest I saw for them. Good luck!

  • @JD797 Thanks a lot man!

  • Hey man great vid

Where did you get those tail lights from .. very cool ;)

  • sounds good..you should make a video of you driving it/taking off

  • Is that full or catback

  • you only took off the mufflers not the resonator right???

  • @vinnylongo11 yup

  • Nice, where'd you get the tailights?

  • that sounds a little high pitched, maybe its the camera or the raspiness, but could somebody tell me why that sounds so much diff from an rs4 aftermarket exhaust? isnt it the same basic motor setup, volkswagon vr6tt.

  • dam i'm gunna my miss a6 it got killed yesterday D:

  • i'm german and i don't like german cars because they have much ccm but to little hp .jap cars are better in my opinion because they have little ccm an many hp and the engines are better .

  • @3000gtV6 wtf lol?? jap cars are slow as DICK they have like 86 hp -.- you cant do shit with that ur probbly a lil ricer faggot

  • Did you just weld those tip on the end of the straight pipe? And also where did you find those taillights thanks bro

  • Man that sounds real nice!!!!! I have a 03 Audi A6 2.7T. How much did this cost you cause i might do that to mine!

  • Audi's German isn't it?? hahaha

  • does it pass emissions like tat?

  • yyyup

  • @JD797 hey, i was wondering if this car is reliable because i am thinking of purchasing one myself.

  • @MrCurry101 Umm, to be perfectly honest, there are many cars that will cost you much less to maintain, lol. There's just a lot to worry about with these, like the timing belt, the turbos, suspension; that said, I haven't really owned any other somewhat higher end cars like this so it's hard to compare costs

  • @MrCurry101

A car that is well cared for will be reliable. An un-reliable Audi is usually at the fault of neglectful owner.

  • dude that sounds tight bro how much it cost u to do that?

  • lol "ponie up the dough" never heard that one b4

  • Comment removed

  • that sounds awesome kudos brother i am doing some research for my c5 exhaust does it not trip any lights on the dash

  • nope. ud only get a CEL if you mess with the cats/downpipes usually

  • Did That sound like a jap car to you.

    No. Jap isnot event close.

  • jap car? what the fuck are you talking about??? jap cars sound fucked because they have no ccm, no power, this beauty has. just be quiet if you have no clue of real cars -.-

  • @228Ghost228 Forgive my ignorance, but what's "ccm"? I tried looking it up but I couldn't find anything.

  • @SimpleandQuick cubic centimeters, the volume above the cylinders. the bigger, the meaner the car sounds :D

  • @228Ghost228 how can one sound "fucked"? Nice adjective there, brah

  • @foozeballplaya24 fucked as in fucked up.... sorry to misslead you there, brah

  • @228Ghost228 A Nissan 370Z Nismo would fuckin rape this shit in the ass. It has 350 horsepower N/A from a V6 and sounds sexy as hell. These german engines sound like fucking Dysons.

  • @98MAzdaMilleniaS A 370z cost 4 times as much as this so dont talk shit. the audi rs6 which is close to the price of 370z would shit on it so hard. has 450 horsepower with a twin turbo v8

  • @TLumVids You are an idiot... The RS5 has a 450 hp 4.2 liter N/A V8 and costs $70k, the RS6 has twin turbo 5.2 liter V10 570 hp and costs $100k !

  • either way, be extra careful in the specific car you choose, make sure it wasn't beat on because these cars, especially the 2.7T engine, can cause some pricey headaches if they weren't cared for and maintained well, so just a heads up (look for things like timing belt job, how often oil was changed, if they did proper warm-ups/cool-downs with the turbo engine, etc)

  • it's got twin turbo, same engine as the B5 S4 actually, and it's funny you bring it up I got an 01.5 S4 a little under a year ago haha and I love it. As far as which you should get, it's personal preference. If you want a bigger car with more room, the c5 a6 is definitely an awesome car, and the 2.7T model has a lot of room for mods. The S4 is smaller, but is also much quicker because of it, and gets better has mileage. If you want a sports car, get the S4, they're pretty reasonably priced now

  • yo i wanted to know the a6 c5 has a single turbo right? And what you think is a better idea to get a a6 c5 or the S4 B5

  • all 2.7t are twin turbo, s4, a6, allroad, only single turbo are 4-bangers

  • nice nice, i the only thing keeping me away from the biturbo's are the turbo failures

  • it sounds a little bit like a 350Z Nissan.

    5/5"

  • nice i got the same car,, they are amazing!!! Sick sound bro

  • DUDE WASUP...its me again wit the 2.8 audi a6 ...lol ...but yea i jus wanted to tell u tht u shoudl check out my video i jus mounted a borla oval exhaust on my car check it out n lemme no how it sounds

  • ebay for the taillights

  • what did u do to the axhaust i got a a6 quattro

  • is it legal to put straight pipes on like you did? its not gonna change my decision to do it either way because it sounds amazing im just wondering.

  • no, thats only with removing the cats from the downpipes, which I didn't touch on the car, though I wish I did

  • so no muffler? just tips that makes it look like u have a muffler? sounds amazing!

  • yup just tips

  • where did you get those taillights

  • i love the look of the rs6 spoiler on your car. i'd love to do it to mine but i don't have enough money to...can't go dropping 400+ on a little plastic lip, regardless of how great it looks, haha.

  • thier not that expensive, all the ones ive seen are around 50-70 dollars

  • well i'm kinda a purist, the ones i would want are OEM bolt on and cost a lot more than the double back tape ones on ebay.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah, howd you get the 2.7t to sound that mean? lol

What all did you do to it?

  • As far as performance goes, I really just did the sway bars and the exhaust, nothing crazy

  • 2.5? 2.25?

  • ok so i have a 2001 2.8 n can any one tell me wat type of mods i can do to it other then exhaust and intake ..

  • sway bars is an awesome upgrade. i got h-sports on my 2.7 and loved them. Other than that, performance wise at least, shocks and springs, other things depend on ur transmission

  • wat r sway bars for ...im new to all the upgrdes n stuff so yea

  • its a suspension thing, they basically help a lot with cornering and reduce body roll a lot. It's good times, hahaha

  • lmao ...n thx...wat bout for exceleration ???

  • eh dont know too much about the 2.8, I mean supercharging it is an option, lol, but other than that im not too sure. lighter wheels? lol

  • lol....supercharging would be hella....lol..list everything u had on ur car

  • Jersey ftl

  • i know you said you sold the car. but can you pleaasee tell me what site or store u got those tail lights? there unreal

  • got them from genkituning but i dont think their website is up anymore, but if you google 'a6 smoked led tail lights' you should be able to find them fairly easily. gl

  • what is this for a exhaust?

  • how much where those taillights

  • I don't have enough money for a full exhaust system so I'm just buying (2) 10415 magnaflow mufflers and maybe 3" Borla Oval tips. What tips do you have on your car?

  • I think I saw u yesterday on Ashland but I might be wrong.

  • Sold the car a few months ago actually and picked up a b5 s4, so most likely not me ;)

  • the 2.7T is a great car, and not too expensive to pick up, but maintenance is pricey, and you really have to be careful when buying it used to make sure the owner took care of the car and the turbos, e.g. got timing belt job done between 60-80k, changed oil preferrably every 5-6kish miles, didn't beat on it, etc.

  • Hey man, how much in total has this car cost you? I am looking for a new car and am just wondering. Thanks and let me know.

  • i got one on eaby for like 100 something i think, forgot who from, but if you decide to go that route try to verify that the seller has a good product from others experiences first. it wasnt oem because thats like 500, plus it has to be painted, and mine had to be bolted on, its the rs6 spoiler

  • One more question. What kind of lip is that? I've seen some 3M ones on ebay for ~60 that looks pretty good (there are some $30 ones but they look horrible).

I was thinking of buying one that you just put on with the double sided 3M. However, do you think its worth dropping the extra $250 - $300 to get a OEM lip?

  • same size. If you just plan on cutting the muffler and/or resonator, you need to replace with piping of the same size. if you're replacing the entire exhaust with straight piping, get something bigger like 2.5"

  • Do the magnaflow tips change the sound at all or was it mainly cutting everything from the resonator back.

I read that it cost $100 but if you cut the resonator and mufflers you have to replace them with piping so how much does that cost to buy install?

  • oh and btw I have a 2.7T that I'm trying to make sound real nice so this video is definitely appealing if it doesn't cost much and helps the car breathe better.

  • tips dont change the sound at all, removing the mufflers do, and it shouldn't be much extra for piping. If you wanna go the extra mile, you can get a full 2.5" SS catback with jsut straight piping, might be a bit loud, but would be best for performance, and would probably be cheaper if you get hte piping yourself and have someone weld/bend it for you. if your lookign for cheap sound/performance, cut the resonator and muffler, or cut the muffler and see how you like it and go from there

  • Thanks for the quick reply. I'll most likely cut the resonator and mufflers at the same time if it is cheaper. If I cut them at the same time and had a shop put in the piping themselves how much do you think I'm looking at total (incl. installation?

    Also no tips

  • eh, varies from place to place. first off, you can use your stock tips if you want, and as far as cost, you're jsut gonna have to call a few places and try to get estimates. gl

  • Thanks I might head to midas and see what they can do. One more thing. When you get the straight pipes wielded, are they wielded over the pipes like socks or are they wielded directly to the rest of the exhaust.

  • ehhh im not really sure what you mean, if the straight piping you get is the same size as the rest of the exhaust its impossible to overlap

  • Ya sorry that was confusing. Is your exhaust overlapped or is it the same size? I'm about to get my car back from the mechanic tomorrow night and I might do this in a month.

  • Damn bro da a6 looks sick ..where in jerzey u at?

  • central, sold the a6 about a month ago though and picked up an 02 S4 =)

  • dude that exhaust is sick, sounds like a aston martin. Love the tail lights too. Got the same wing on my A6 2.7T too.

  • super taillights

  • nice a6 man, what kind of taillights are those?

  • they're these smoked LED tails I got from genki tuning, though I ended up selling them. they look great, just make sure if you want them everything is in good working order right away, I had a few issues with them when i firts got them adn ahd to get them replaced twice. PITA

  • do you have a clip of it driving with this exhaust? sounds pretty good.

  • where in new jersey do u live

    im from neptune city

  • how much?

  • dude i luv dem tail lights i want dem 4 mine

    where did u get dem???

  • lindo ronco !

  • OMG I love the sound of this!!! I want this on mine.

  • yo did you do it yourself? got DIY guide lol? how much did it cost you? any troubles with o2 sensors?

  • naaa had a shop do it, only cost me about 100. and no, no issues have come up at all. i originally cut just the resonator but it didnt work for me, so i had them cut the mufflers too. maybe u can have them cut the mufflers first and see how it is, before chopping the resonator also, jsut to see how it sounds

  • 2 1/2 inch piping, no mufflers, tips are Magnaflow SS 3" rounds

  • I have some work done but, stayed with the 2.25 piping after doing a lot of research. My car is very loud with my set up but, I know that must be loud as hell in person and on the street. Do you have anything else done or video of it driving? Have you been pulled over for it being too loud? I just posted a video of my set up.

  • it actually isn't terribly loud, I find it a nice balance actually. i was a bit hesitant on posting the video because it can be decieving, but it really only gets loud when u floor it, or hold gears in high rpm's, etc, otherwise it sounds lower and stays at a really reasonable noise level when cruising. I'll try to get a better quality vid up when i can of me driving around

  • Oh no I understand because it's not as bad in my car when I'm cruising but, flooring it is another story. So you left in the center resonator? I was talking to some guys in a forum and many people have went to an h-pipe setup in place of a resonator or my set up with no center and two very low restriction mufflers. I have zero resonance even in cold weather.

  • No I cut both the resonator and the mufflers. I did it a while ago, but I'm PrettY sure my car had an 'x-pipe' in there behind the resonator in the stock setup, so I left that as is. I definitely noticed increased hp with the whole procedure too, I mean that's one of the reasons I cut all that stuff for straight piping, soooo much lighter. I still wanna get a chip soon though. warrantys up on the 29th so well see

  • Oh ok so you have the same set up as me except no rear mufflers at all. A giac chip would sound and perform great with your car. Get a flash loader so you can switch in between programs. I suggest going to the dealership and having check for any boost or leak issues before the warranty is up. Any little problem have them work it because its about to get expensive to work on it.

  • yea im gonna have to. what preventative measures did you take? i know people get the 710N diverter valves, did you get different clamps for em too? what else?

  • actually I got some hyberboost core diverter valves from a porsche 997 then ordered new clamps from audi. They aren't the more expensive compact ones but still cost more than 130 a piece in a store. They can handle up to 40 psi and are so strong they almost sound like blowoff valves. Also change your plugs and tbb. check for any boost leaks before getting chipped. giac x-chip is by far the fastest chip

  • Is this a 3in exhaust?

    What kind of mufflers?
