im from VA and it hit everybody pretty hard here. Im strong but not enough to stand here tearlessly. nobody diserves to die especially when they have so much to accomplish.
I think everyone should make video & write poems or just words 2 let the families, friends, & Hookies no tht we r here 4 them! It doesnt matter 2 me what sum small minded people think of my video! Get out there & show ur support too, no matter how big or how small the task! Thats what its going 2 take 2 make a difference!!! Thank u for all the great comments!
This was my way of giving to the people who were lost & effected by this! No video & no words can ever make something like this better but it does help 2 no tht billions of people have a heart & care!
No problem skysforever its done! No one should send you hate messages 4 your opinion but u know how the kids r on here! They r just opinions just like yours so dont take any of it 2 heart! I just really liked the speech she gave so I included it in my tribute bc when I listened to her say it gave me chills. I can see how some may think it takes away if they didnt realize what it was from.
Those words are from a VA Tech poet (as stated in the video itself) and are beautiful and appropriate for their ability to show the universality of suffering. Now let me ask you this, in a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the tragedy, one in which these "objectionable" words come from the community itself, how dare you come here with your agenda of hatred. How dare you open your mouth to criticize without troubling yourself to understand. How dare you.
Ummm Hello! The words in between the photos are from a very well known poet from VA Tech that spoke those words in honor of the lost souls!
Maybe you should make sure you know exactly what you are talking about b4 you make a comment on something that someone took there time to do as a tribute to the lost! How dare you judge! How dare you speak Hate at this time! I call you out for this!
Ok,I'm sorry. I am very sad about what happened. It just seemed inappropriate to bring up everything from Mexican children to ivory. That takes away from these victims, regardless of who wrote it. Now I wish my comment would be deleted because I don't need to hear hate for having an opinion. I can't delete it so maybe the person who made the website will do it. I will write to them and ask. And I do have a lot of sympathy for the victims and their families. I cried a lot about this.
i dont wish anything bad on the killer that did this because he got probably the worst thing you can ever get......death.....i wish that there were something that i could do for everyone involved in this tragedy.....this video is amazing!!!! GOD BLESS ALL THE HOKIES AND THEIR FAMILIES!!!!!
Well done, it sure puts things into perspective. This tragedy was felt by everyone and is incomprehensible; I sometimes feel like I'm selfish for not feeling for the tragedy's that occur everyday around the world.
yeah, its pretty lame to add those other views in there. A word of advice. Focus on one thing here. When you attempt to defunct the world at large, you end up just looking powerless and over emotional. Lets focus on the tragedy at hand. We all know the worlds Fucked up.
i feel very bad for the families who lost their children in the attack monday, and all i have to say is the asshole that did it is very lucky the the police didnt get him
Seeing their faces makes it so much heavier and way more depressing :( Not to mention how old (or young rather) everyone was. I think the comments in between could use work, simply because it drew away from the core idea. Good job on it though.
i agree it makes it alot stronger on us seeing the people who actually passed on that day. I'm really touched that everyone united to support the ones mourning their losses.
that was an amazing video and i was bawling!
my prayers are with them...

That was a total overgeneralization about the media. Some coverage was not overblown and was tasteful.

It was nice to see most of all the face of the victims. I could say a prayer for them and the people that loved them.

this is a beautiful tribute to the innocent victims of this terrible act, and to their loved ones.

Thank you. The end reminded me of all the great things about Virginia Tech, made me miss it, and know that it will recover.
