  • "Is my bald head ok?' Hysterical! 16 people need to learn how to smile.:)

  • 先生、お茶目だわ♪

  • Aikido is almost "Newtonian". The more power the opponent uses to strike, the more he gets hurt. Same principle applies to Judo. Very nice!

  • This is ASOBI! thanks to Endo sensei.

  • Great attitude!!! Aikido for real life hun!?

  • nice personality

  • He. Endo. I talked to him in person 3 times on a Endo training session in Sweden. I'm swedish, but know a little japanese. He was very surprised when I started talking japanese. He's awesome! x)

  • movements with smiles and laughters, is aikido, it brings gladness and happiness. thanks for posting.

  • dont know much about aikido but he seems to have a good sense of humour which is always a good thing......if only more martial arts experts showed such humility it would be a great thing......nice video!

  • I have never seen him so happy and in laughing mood. Its great to watch him doing AIKIDO in this way.

  • haha he is a real master

  • hahaha ! Death Note music at the end XP

PS: what a nice trainer he fail some times and he still accept and laugh... XD

  • great!!!

  • very nice

  • Reminds me of Joel Grey who played the character Chiun on Remo Williams and to have a sense of humor that's great! Aikido is about the spirit and laughter should always be part of the spirit show we can show others how to be happy with who we are no matter the situation. Cool video!

  • good stuff

  • great video!

  • he makes me laugh when he says Eh and laughs...Great

  • Please no more foul language,As Aikidoka we should set an example not join the league of abusives

  • If they do not know something it is because they have not been shown or told,There fore it is up to those who possess good knowledge to educate on behalf of Our Sensei And O Sensei.

  • ...You are studying an Art Form which is about self perfection and being more compassionate to those around us less fortunate and less educated

  • Sincere thankyou for sharing the upload,It is great to see the humour And how Aikido encourages humour seeing it is about having fun learning and can ease the tension between students getting it wrong.Absolutely fantastic. And I agree with RogueMonk.

Those who are rude are ignorant ,

I really object to Students using foul language Martial Arts one assossiated to Samurai Arts.

  • those guys who are rude to him should be ashamed . he is there doing them a favor .

    Its a shame.

  • Beautiful smile. I like this Master. Thanks, this is Aikido Spirit.

  • yeah and he also accepts some fo their rude ways.

  • death note ost at the end, lol

  • LOVE IT!!

  • with a smile on your face and laughter in your heart...now that's aikido!

  • aikido es lo mejor (L)(L)(L)+

  • funny, il spirito ottimo!

  • Endo Shi-Han is genial !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he is a very funny master, i wana train with him.

  • Nice to see... loved when Endo Shihan laughs in the middle about the "off camera" comment.

@TigerJohn - what a sincerely stupid thing to say

  • @TigerJohn1948. lol, but it is a game for fun. Who would train if all it did was bring you pain? Sure at times during practice people must pay close attention, so as not to get hurt, and to learn. But I never heard laughing was such a no-no. Don't take yourself so seriously. :)

  • Try Daito Ryu.

Then come back and post a comment like that lol.

Pain, the pain you know now will be so different when you try Daito Ryu.

As the saying goes if it hurts....Its Daito Ryu.

  • Uhh, Aikido is not an martial art, it is a martial Way. Also, the founder of Aikido said that Aikido training should be joyful. If you want to get serious join the special forces, and stop whining like a B!t@# on the internet.

  • if you had said aikido isn't a martial art and then explain your point i might have replied "i understand your point good sir, but aikido is, in some of it's forms, a martial art, like the takemussu style" but no, you went and said "it's a martial Way". Tell me then, how the fuck is that different?

  • Did you mean to say it's not "martial"? because "martial" is what indicates the nature of martial arts, not the word "art". "Martial" means "for war", the term comes from the roman god of war "Mars", so if you meant to say aikido isn't fo war you should have changed the word "martial" instead of "art". Saying martial art or martial way is pretty much the same, that's what i find to be stupid about your comment.

  • You're stuck in a binary world of semantics. Aikido is BUDO, not BUGEI/BUJUTSU. BU=war (martial). DO=Way. GEI=art, and JUTSU=craft (discipline). You need to take your arguement up with a whole language, people, and culture...I didn't make this shit up. Aikido's technical roots are in an armored environment with live blades and uncertainty. It's been modified to emphasize modern social/spiritual needs. Don't bitch, join special forces if you want to be a modern martially competent warrior.

  • @tadanokami &

    lORDELO2 :

    The word 'Bugei' {Bu: Military,Martial}, {Gei: Method,Accomplishment}.

When these specializations are intended as disciplines with an end or purpose of more educational or ethical in nature 'technique' becomes 'Way'.

{Do},meaning path.towards spiritual rather than purely practical achievement.

Therefore 'Aikido' would be as we know is 'The Path Of Harmony'.

  • @lORDELO2 & tadanokami

Kenjutsu: The Art{Jutsu} of the Katana{Ken} Iaijutsu...The Art {Jutsu} Of drawing {Iai} and cutting with the Katana.

In the earliest records of the Japanese nation,Bu was employed to denote the military dimensions{Ko} OR the civil dimension{Bun},Bothof which were related primarily with the functions of the imperial court.

Bu thus appears in the composites 'Buke & Bumon' to identify.......'Military Families' as diffrientiated from the 'Kuge & Kgyo'.

  • hahaha that was hilarious .good video

  • nice way to get smile :)

  • it's nice to see sensei smiling ;)))

  • but......what's that? it's strange!

  • It is alot of fun being the partner of a high dan. I do it everyday in class. Many times comes out the fun comment and maybe right while he is knocking you down hard. Something I have learnt is laughing in pain :)

  • (LOL) Yeah, miss those days, I wonder how my seniors changed these days, most of them became more fond of fighting than practice...
