This is truely an amazing performance of this piece. I played this for my State Solo and Ensemble and it didn't sound nearly as good as yours. Your tone and subdivision of notes is incredible.
@JJeanYY Keep your body VERY relaxed when you play fast. No tension in the upper body at all. Keep everything very light - The faster you play the lighter you body needs to be.
This is amazing. I love this solo, and I'm working on it and all. I don't think I'll play it as well as you, because that was beautiful. I'm trying to get it as fast as you but it's not working out. Your video is helping a lot :)
I'm playing this song for a recital, but I'm not playing it nearly that fast. You are verryyy talented and great job! It sounded absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could get my vibrato to ring like that on those super high notes in the beginning.
Wow. You are incredible. I am working on this for an audition this summer. I knew it would be hard so I started a couple of months ago. How do you do all of the runs so fast? I have decent tone, but my fingers just don't work very fast.
Thank you. You're very kind. I make sure my flute is stable on all the fast runs. Light fingers on the flute (no smacking the keys down) Very light touch. Good flute balance, good body balance and good hand position. I think if you just practice your scales every day and speed them up you will be able to play this piece!! No problem!! :-) Good luck
I'm thinking about playing this for contest and I wanted to hear a good performance, and your's went absolutely beyond that! I'll be listening to this much more often for reference. Thanks for posting this!!!!
nice nice nice job.. Your tone is gorgeous, especially your upper octaves. I'm currently working on this for my college auditions.. I want to be a music education major.. pretty nervous.. you took it a little faster than I am..
Thank you! I did that it a bit faster than usual. That's my interpretation for that particular performance. You do whatever tempo you are comfortable doing at your audition. I'm a music ed major as well! Cheers
this is amazing. !

This was fantastically performed. I particularly like the interpretation just prior the the piano's development, ca. 2:30. Beautiful.
