As for the "SOS is a weak argument"...I don't go by the standard SOS that only looks at W/L. I look at what teams are being played, what their schedules look like, and what kinds of schemes they run. Utah's SOS isn't that great next year. Then again, neither is UF's. UGA's is probably one of the strongest if not THE strongest though.

And SOS is a weak argument for the fact that Utah had a stronger SOS than most SEC schools at the end of the year.

As for the LB...Wright is leaving. He started the Sugar Bowl, and was highly active throughout that game.

There is one starter coming back as you said, another kid that played ALOT (Jeremy Brooks) and another kid that is going to be just as good as Freddy Brown or Braden Godfrey (Iona Key. We'll have one fresh face at WR.

But what about your "Big" D-line that allowed 21 points in less that 8 min of play. Utah could have gone with the no huddle offence more but our Q.B. Dislocated his shoulder and didnt want to hurt it more. We were all over your Q.B. from both sides, not just the one your precious Andre Smith plays.

The D line isn't one that pressure QB's...it was known for stalling the run...which Utah didn't utilize all that much.

And I've been through this with several people, bama only had front line talent...they did so good because they were able to use all their starters for so long. when andre left, it left a huge hole, when his backup went down, it screwed them even more.

With the offense not performing, the defense had no real momentum and was playing flat, and utah was getting jacked off their success during the game.
