Can't say he's the greatest red ranger but I will say he's the greatest blue ranger in the Zordon era, I really didn't like Billy mainly because of how they wrote him as a push over while 14 episodes into the season and yet he's destroyed monsters inside of a 15 story robot, I though Justin sucked and TJ seemed like a red ranger to me, but it sucks that he Rocky doesn't get much respect though.

If Jason had stayed I highly doubt he would have been the Blue Ranger in Zeo. Then again he wouldn't have came back as the Gold Ranger then either.. Hmm. I guess in a way it was best for Jason to leave and tommy to become red in zeo as the gold ranger kicked ass.

then again, Tommy was originally never meant to be a permanent character other than the extra green ranger, but when his time was done, the fans made many many notes to the writers demanding/begging for his return, so they used the white ranger from Dairanger and gave it to tommy in the second season
