don't speak when you don't know. I stayed there. China is great but... they have too many people, too much pollution + it will take time before they learn to be creative (50 years at least). Look at their population now they have strong people: the one who studied abroad, the one who live in Shanghai, Beijing... that is still very little.

Boycott threat is just another big bluff. In 1996 Bill clinton threatened China of economic sanctions if situation of "human rights"...blah...blah...blah... whagt happen after, nothing nothing nothing. clinton bluff was just to fool some american people to get their votes.

Same reason why Segolene Royal went to China in January last during french presidential campaign. China was the only country outside the EU visited by Royal during the electoral campaign. After enjoying herself in Beijing, she pretended to have armtwisted her host on "HR" issues. Big joke but very useful for her to get few thousand votes from naive french voters.
