This is the 1984 original vocal song sung by Jane Barton, written by her husband Edward Barton. This ISN'T Miss Jane/ATB - who covered the song after Kirsty Hackshaw (Opus III) did.
I taped it from John Peel's show back in the 80's. Thanks for uploading it.

I am So entranced at how OLD this song is yet it was re made and re-introduced to different generations. I heard it thro ATB...but I prefer the original 80's version...."We Will Have Salad".That is classic...bring it back and include that verse!!

It's just Jane, not Miss Jane. This is the unaccompanied original from 1983, not Kirsty's Opus III or Miss Jane vs. ATB version which aren't a patch on this.
