Yes...Million Dollar Movie played this all week and I also remember Yankee Doodle Dandy, Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid, The Egg and I and Portrait of Jennie...
@willy2454 Your "gaydar" is off, buddy. Walker was an avowed heterosexual and loved only one woman thorughout his life; Jennifer Jones. Now run along and take a nice cold shower.
WOR-TV, channel 9 in NYC had a program called "Million Dollar Movie" where they played the same film all week. I watched this almost continuously and fell in love with Ava, Dick Haymes' glorious voice and feisty Olga! I was in love! Never stopped loving Ava.
@globalman Yes, reminds me of the story of Orson Wells coming home one night from the studio and finding Rita Hayworth crying her eyes out because she was so depressed; he could never get over that, this beautiful woman so tormented. He divorced her soon after, he just couldn't cope.
Ava Gardner is such a true beauty

Most of Walkers career was wasred playing these lackluster parts. Omly Hitchcock in Strangers Ona Train allowed him to show his true talent.

@macemcguire I don't agree. The film is very good so far and shows that Walker has great comedic talents.
