I saw the video here on YouTube first. To see the track plan in this video makes sense of it all. Fascinating to see and watch. It may not be scale, but who cares! It's a wonderful toy department store layout doing what it does best. Entertain. Thank you for sharing the photo's. They're inspirational.
@BNSF9250 you obviously haven't see this layout in operation in person, it will deff bring some magic within you, you thought existed, I love this layout despite its lack in realistic operation
@BNSF9250 - American Flyer S-gauge trains are essentially toy trains, not fine-scale model railways. This sort of layout is loaded with activity, which suits the toy train genre better than a more realistic setup.
i think i saw this layout in a tran show in Raleigh ,NC. if you search the atlantic coast s guagers-their channel name is acsgcarolinas- they have a vid of it in action.
@tinpl8r its what I plan to do this year for my annual Park Christmas Display with Postwar Lionel and a polar express set, did measurements to squeeze it into a 8' x 12' plan however I may have to make it longer
@tinpl8r thank you, I have all summer and fall to work on it, and I have a ton of track and the like and plus I'm working again so I'll have additional funding, it'll be completed this winter :)
