  • hey buddy i was wundering if you have any tips on stripping the 10 layers of paint off this ol bruiser body i bought ? i noticed from your videos that you are pretty savy at building these little suckers thought you might pass on a tip or 2 be for i kill my bruiser body useing the wrong stuff to strip off the paint... thanks again for your time and could you please make more videos lol... have a good 1 buddy

  • I've used DOT3 brake fluid to get paint off hardbodies. Fill a few inches of a bin with the brake fluid, drop the hardbody in there and cover with rags or paper towels drenched in same fluid. Let sit for a half hour or longer (keep checking it). Paint should slide right off most of it and require a little elbow grease on stuff in crevices and such. An old toothbrush helps in those cases.

  • how much for the jeep?

  • the white jeep body is retired. now its a ford f150.

the f150 ready to run scaler is for sale (price negotiable-make offer-see video) and the body is also available but is in terrible shape and is only good for the steel tube cage.

  • cool vid!!!

    lovin the white jeep!

  • thanks. we have a good time with these.

The White Jeep is for sale actually...

  • NICE RIGS BRO

  • thanks! I'm lucky to have so many locals interested in scale trucks and scale driving. And lucky to have so many places to drive!

  • im so in love with the hilux in the vid, and where did you get that wrinch, tyres???

  • winch is a juggster winch. you'll have to google it to find it as I can't recall where he got it. Tires on the hilux are RC4WD "Rock Crusher" tires.

  • this is perfect.. 10-10 - <3 love scale 4x4 going to get a hilux my self :D plz plz post more vids

    keep up the good vork

  • thanks! That hilux is actually an original Bruiser (very similar to a hilux, which is the re-release of the bruiser). more videos coming soon...

  • where do you guys get the bodys for the the trucks?

  • toy grade radio control trucks. we've found these at Walmart, toysRus, KB Toys, Target, you name it...The Range Rover I have I got at walmart for $30. Its a street, lowered rover with dubs, lol...There are loads of FJ Cruisers, 4dr jeeps, etc. The chevy bodies are old Clod monster truck bodies.

  • Hey, Sounds like you mean you bought some cheapo RC cars 1:10 because of the bodies right? Just wondering what "toy grade" refers to. Just bought my first crawler mag, trying to get into this... Great trucks!

  • Correct. Some of those bodies are from cheap rc trucks you buy at department stores. We toss everything else and just use the bodies. 1:10 scale is a common scale and some hobby grade trucks are also 1:10 coincidentally. Some of those are Tamiya hobby grade bodies though (the toyota, brat are two).

  • I can't wait til next time. I still like the subaru. It did well out there with the big boys.

  • You need to slow that puppy down! LOL. Nice rig. We'll do another scaler run shortly.

  • awesome day, I had a whole lot of fun. Look forward to the next meet.

  • Good to see you. Glad you made it. Next time bring your land rover too! We'll do another scale gtg soon. Hopefully at San Pedro this time.

  • LOL....don't advertize too much....I can't keep up as it is!

  • Great video you guys!!!

  • Maybe soon enough we will be advertising your wheels enough we can get a discount ;)

  • At this point it should be a volume discount, lol...
