that sounds not at all appropriate to an anthropology class. that makes me sad. I'm not attempting to put you down, I'm just saying I hate how education is going nowhere.
@nazisBLOW it's all good. besides, that anthropology coloring book really sucked. i had to color in the words and everything. Not to mention the fact that it was a college anthropology class assigning college students A FUCKING COLORING BOOK.
So.... I've heard this timeless classic, it has taken me through a journey of my mind & touched my very soul. So where can I buy this vinyl, CD, I don't really mind what it is but I need to buy this album. :3
Good, just didn't like how the timing seemed a little off at 1:24. Does anyone know how that happened?
Cool concept, that's for sure! It's great to see how Blockhead has grown in his talent! Definitely encourages me to go out there and be okay with the mistakes I make.
Reality reads bleak under the entropy of time, so I take what i know of this world and leach into my mind,
Where the pages are blank ill take out my colors, the memories of haze abusive mothers, il take it away and feed it to the animals, i left my mind hungry to percieve the intangible.
@VVVVVVVVVVVVWVVVVVVV color outside the lines much? you wont be able to in the future as government death squads will raid your home at the moment divisiveness is detected. so do it now, make something 'off time'.
@AvocadoTomato provide your physical location within this box to expedite big brothers premeditated evacuation procedures for you. shame of you, zionist.
Who are the 3 ppl who didn't like it? I get it if it's not your thing, but why are you here and how did you find this if not a fan of the genre?(and if you are then this is one of the finest songs in the genre). This song is brilliant and I've sent the link to all my friends who like this kind of music, but this CD was never sold. He released on 2000 copies and I'm betting not a lot of ppl have this outside of music industry insiders and F&F of Blockhead. .

if you love this try Bonobo, De Phazz, Quantic and "Arts the Beatdocter". a little different to blockhead but all still epic as fuck. love this kind of music it better never die out
Bonobo... Definitely. Same downbeat triphop sound. Blockhead sounds like Bonobo and Danger Mouse had a genius bastard baby... Then gave the baby a big bag of weed.
@dobby240 thanks so much, They're all awesome, didnt know that music still good in this day and age. They should be more popular, people should listen to their music. That's music, not bunch of fucktards on MTV
@iamductri Damn straight, I stopped listining to commercial stuff in about 97 i dont watch tv at all now either everything mainstream seems so cheap and tacky and i hate it. I got so much soul for music with feeling and creativity in it its nice to know there are millions of other people out there with the same mind frame.
the beginning parts make me want to cry, but in a good way, like cleaning out the cobwebs of the mind, the pain of the world, the frustrations of everyday life
I'm a fan of blockhead, but why do i feel the background drum machine is a little off at times, espec. near the end of each rhythmal section in the 1st part of this song?
@sukmacack365 it does sound that way but i listened to it again and tapped my finger with the drumming, and nodded my head to the guitar section (and everything else) and they matched up perfectly the whole song. im sure blockhead wouldnt just let something like that slide.
@sukmacack365 It sounds weird because I think it was written in a weird time signature. Sounds like 3/4 5/4 off set or 8/4 which makes it awkward to mix with music that is 4/4 but it works. It's a weird mix of musical styles. Try to focus on the individual samples to get the scope of how good Blockhead really is.
I bought this album over itunes because I couldn't find it anywhere, and then I lost the damn tracks when I changed computers. I can't believe this song has 3k views, ITS SO GOOD.
i totally agree but i like how blockhead is that under ground status fame, dont wanna be like lil wayne or those fuks who pay ppl to do there lyrics and shiit... blockhead and aesop and atmosphere are ther 3 best for sure
