  • How do you switch what your focusing on? My camera i try this, and I cant just SWITCH. It was well done.

  • You fins something in the foreground and something in the background. Then then you get up kinda close to your foreground object. Then you use the zoom to get even closer, you have to zoom here, you can just walk up more. Then everything should be super blurry, and you just have to adjust the focus. If you a just to a longer range, the background will focus and the foreground will be blurry and vice versa.

But some cameras don't have a manual focus option so that may be your problem.

  • Well i have a pretty poor manual focus. I like to call it semi automatic focus, I can adjust the forcus but it takes a while for it to switch properly. Its actully very annoying, i was using an OLD school VHS camera that had a date stamp back to 1987 and it was so cool since it had an automatic focus and you could see the lens actully adjust for it. It had amzing color and focus on a compistie line

  • what kind of camera do you have?

  • Sony DCR-SR 42

  • shot 0:23 is a genius man..

  • yeah it looks pretty cool doesn't it

  • Thanks for the advice, redtail. Only thing is, my camera isn't prosumer so I don't have control of the iris.

  • also open your iris and lap an nd filter on it, it workes better and then youe can still zoom with the effect on
