I dont agree. Ken in his prime WAS the best in both singles and doubles, when teaming with Isai.

Also, Ken beat pretty much everyone nationwide multiple times, plus going across seas to win tournaments. Mango hasnt played east coast that much, nor has he traveled out of the country. Ken in his prime was better than Mango.

My point is - Mango has beaten M2K once, unless im missing another tournament where they played each other. I argue that M2Ks tournament placings still keep him above Mango.

i agree with a majority of what you're saying, but melee doesn't really work that way. the transition property doesnt apply: if m2k can beat ken, and ken can beat mango, that doesn't necessarily mean m2k is going to beat mango. no doubt mango is good, but we always have to consider so much stuff when these pros go head to head. bad days, nervousness, styles, reading of the opponents, etc.

Mango is one of the best in the world now is because many of the pros, such as isai, since he retired after the pro circuit and the other tournies, and it doesnt matter if he has the titles for both singles and doubles because most of the pros are starting to retire and in doubles, it is no accomplishment to have it cause his partner could be better then him.

this match is weird bc M2K is a Marth/Fox main and KD is a singles beast. I dont think his style of play is suited for teams. Plus Jack is a Great plyr but even he knows hes no Ken so this shows that M2K and KD r bttr singles plyrs

in that aspect, it's kind of interesting, because Isai and Cpt Jack are both assist players in teams, and M2K and KDJ are both singles players. Of course they're all great in general, but you'll notice that Cpt Jack and Isai will hit each other trying to assist each other in little clutch moments.
