anyway, SMT never fails to deliver <3 i do hope this reaches the u.s. soon if not already. :3

@HazbyH8U2 Bullshit. I love persona, but it's WAY too fucking overrated and overshadows the actual mainstream Shin Megami tensei games. Persona's about the power of friendship and shit and generic teenagers saving the world while the other SMTs have a much more complex plot. Devil summoner also had the best gameplay out of all the SMTs.

Although I agree with you, but Persona is another great plucking out of the tree that is Atlus.

Furthermore, I mostly admire Shoji Meguro's ability to make music fit according to each game.

Nocturne : Catchy techno for an upbeat feeling.

Persona : Urban style hip-hop remix-ish music to fit the current real world setting.

Strange Journey : The world is about to goddamn end. Hymns, tribal and orchestral music comes by to indicate that shit is serious.

I'm gonna assume you're actually ignorant of why. Shin Megami Tensei came first, and they were DEMONS not Persona. Personae are beings made from human preconceptions of demons. Demons, well... youkai is a better word for how it's used in the series, but I digress. Demons are a MAJOR part of every SMT game. It's what sets this series apart from other JRPGs.
