although this is indeed creative, i would rather prefer a more secure and perhaps aesthetically more pleasing stand - after all you bought a very expensive design-heavy device, why not invest in a proper stand or craft an adequate one ;) just saying..
we just made ours but it took is about 250 seconds because we used a thin colorful rope and a plastic stopper on the back to regulate the inclination angle!! thanks for the brilliant and fun idea!
Tried this and it works!!! It was brilliant. Only thing I did better is that the hocks that the iPad sits on I snapped off and super-glued it front ways.
