As to the airport. The problems there are symptomatic throughout the country. Almost every facet of life has been drastically effected by the cutback era that began when Mulroney was in power. Everyone in every department has been whacked to the bone. The cracks of society have widen and so many people have been pushed through to the street that we now fear anyone who looks poor.
The minimum wage is so low it's sinister, so how can YVR attract people to work way out there. The airport staff are obviously disorganized, probably due to cutbacks in personnel. There was no PA in the security area, so Robert never heard his mother, due to oversight or cutbacks. They could certainly use more staff on the weekends, I know I have worked there.
Going through that airport and all the security checks is a very frustrating experience for many travelers. Having the schematics of YVR online has got to has got to be unnerving for the staff. He did not "just arrive." He was being held up by the Border Service. He had a 23 year old record and was an "inadmissible to Canada." I have a article that suggests that he was going to be sent back to Poland. Robert was regarded as garbage that needed to be taken out. He should have been allow to go to Kamloops with his mother-and any "inadmissible" issues should have been worked out later...

As to the airport. The problems there are symptomatic throughout the country. Almost every facet of life has been drastically effected by the cutback era that began when Mulroney was in power. Everyone in every department has been whacked to the bone. The cracks of society have widen and so many people have been pushed through to the street that we now fear anyone who looks poor.

The minimum wage is so low it's sinister, so how can YVR attract people to work way out there. The airport staff are obviously disorganized, probably due to cutbacks in personnel. There was no PA in the security area, so Robert never heard his mother, due to oversight or cutbacks. They could certainly use more staff on the weekends, I know I have worked there.

Going through that airport and all the security checks is a very frustrating experience for many travelers. Having the schematics of YVR online has got to has got to be unnerving for the staff. Where was the medical staff and why did the RCMP fail to tell them beforehand someone may get tazed? That is something they should WANT to know. Certainly there was a huge lack of common sense, but it may have started long before that day.

In European countries police is skilled enough to disable man like that only using they own hands but before that they try to persuade. - how sad he was killed so brutally by the Facist (Corportions become the govt) Police State using these vicious torture devices - clearly the man was able to be directed by the officers and was moving as they directed - lethal force was not warranted. Why did the Canadian Gestapo Strike that Police Batton double-handed-violently so many times? Head / Hands / Arm Blows?

I've watched the video of this poor man and I now strongly think he had a dangerously low blood sugar level causing disorientation no different than intoxication - he needed food and water - the elite prices for simple food and drink in air port terminals is criminal - simple food and water should be available for situations like this - he spend almost a full day trying to find his family . . .
