@WintersLotus yea but theres a fair chance u catch the opponent off guard giving u a high chance to come in with a HP attack... or if ur character has the abilities, he can do a bravery attack and a HP attack right after the bravery attack boosting the damage, for example with cloud, u can hit him twice then come through with an hp attack called 'finishing touch'. Blocking is very efficient...

Squall is at lv 61 right now with all the attack abilities. Cloud is at lv 68 with all the moves to XP

I believe it's online lobby. It's not truly online (unless you have a PS3 or XLink KAI), that's just what it's called. Offline lobby allows you to fight a CPU.

You need two PSP's and 2 Dissidia games. Then both of you just go to the multiplayer icon on the menu. One makes the match, the other joins.

Tidus is not really good, I prefer Cloud, Squall and Sephiroth. Its just personal choice xD

Your gameplay is kinda confusing, I'm not like that when I'm playing, you 2 really jump many times to avoid attacks (X + R), try blocking the foe's attacks and then you're able do attack next, well... thats my way of playing since I beat level 110 enemies, and they avoid all attacks, all I can do is block and then atttack. Try to do that =) 5*

You can't block HP attacks, so we like to be on the safe side. Aside from that, we aren't the type of players to just build up enough brave to kill our enemies in one hit, so we use a lot of HP attacks, meaning that we dodge more.

I see, i'm not the tipe of player to kill in one hit either, i just block normal attacks and dodge the HP attacks, you just need to pay attention and have good reflections. Believe me, you kill him in no time... well, im talking about when fighting "computer" not Ad-hoc, but i play both the same way.

I usually pay attention to the number when it comes to my HP, but I believe those crystals are other 'bars of HP'. SOrt of like Kingdom Hearts where bosses will have multiple bars. Getting broken means that you have low bravery and your opponent knocks it out of you, leaving your bravery at 0. They gain a ton of bravery if they do this. So say I had 8 bravery and my opponent did 10 damage to me. It would result in a break.

I'm assuming you're asking if you can play as Chaos characters in free battle. Once you've bought them in the shop, they are playable in all modes except story. However, Chaos himself is not playable, but you can fight against him in certain modes.

They're played on the PSP. The game has a replay system like Super Smash Bros Brawl, but you can convert the replay to a .avi file.

Go to the Museum (with the treasure chest icon, which is only available after unlock). There's an option to watch/edit your replays, delete your replays, and then after that 'Export'. You'll be able to select three different qualities (which also have varying file sizes). once one is selected, the game will start the export process. After it's exported, plug your PSP up to your PC and transfer the video file. Then you can do whatever you want with it.

this match is boring, 'cause the one who uses Tidus did not use his full power, and im sure being caught by Squall's magic is absolutely unacceptable =.= particularly he is using a DODGE FIGHTER ! but i suggest before fighting u should at least get a Brv to HP Atk for Tidus, such as Charge and Assault !

Yes, because magic is absolutely easy to dodge. This makes no sense. Squall's magic is there for a reason. If it was pathetically easy to dodge, it wouldn't be there. No one plays perfectly. I'm sure you can point out things, but if you were the one playing, you wouldn't be so perfect either.

You guys actually got me excited about this game. Most of the vids I saw at first had words like EPIC plastered all over them but would just be spam fests and Ex Core collecting against low level computer AI. Youve shown that elements such as dodging, guarding, timing and baiting are essential to winning fights in dissdia (like any good fighting game) against skilled players and that its not a mindless button masher. Bravo to the both of you and make more vids soon.

You guys have good videos, but you need to level up your characters. Seriously. Low level fights are kinda boring without the high numbers flying around.

No, but higher leveled player matches are even better.

High(er) leveled character matches seem to last the same amount of time as low(er) leveled ones. As you level, you get more HP, but do more damage, evening it out. After level 60 or so, most characters don't even get new skills.

What we're planning on while playing as Gabranth is just to not use his EX Burst. He's able to go EX mode (which means the other character is too), but EX Bursts are a no-no.

Sounds great to me, since Gabranth looks awesome with his helmet. I actually want to make a request, with Terra and Kefka using Black Mages-Dancing Mad. Unfortunatly I'm going to be very specific (even though I shouldn't) that Kefka enters ex-mode on the ballad part of the song. No ex-burst, and near the end of it, Terra ends him. Asking too much but would be epic!

No EX Bursts while in EX Mode makes EX Mode even more dangerous. A lot of characters get stuff like increased power or healing during EX Mode, and that thankfully ends early because people usually like to use EX Bursts from the get-go. Characters like Squall can get more damage in with several EX Mode HP attacks than with just a single HP attack and an EX Burst.

You obviously don't focus on Ex-cores, repeating attacks, and when you parry eachother with the X button, you obviously cut it short to 3 of them. I didn't like Black Mages before, and even now, I still have trouble listening to remixes. "Maybe I'm a Lion" is the name of the song in FFVIII, no name change, unless translated different.
