@mrbeigan Thanks Dru - I'm proud of this one and Rockin' down the highway as I think I really filled the void of the 2nd drummer and percussionist that plays on the original track. I watched their convert on cable Live at Wolf Trap - one of the drummers had a t-shirt on that read: "Will Drum for Food" - Loved it! I like the Doobies style of music w/o MM - with him, it seemed to get slower and shifted from rock to pop.
Hey Ed what a brilliant cover!!!. I have been playing the studio version of this in my car for the past few weeks in view of doing a cover, I don’t I will bother now as you have done an excellent version and done it justice. It’s not an easy one to drum to as you & Nick mentioned. well done dude and I think you are well truly on the road to recovery. keep on rocking.
Ed....awesome job on a not so easy song....great fills, timing and use of the whole kit. It sounded great and your video is excellent....Keep rocking bro .... Nick
@readyeddy101 Thanks Nick! You are right - this is a tough one to play...but it was fun to try. This version was performed by them with 2 Drummers and a Percussionist on stage. I really appreciate your kind words and support!
hey, this one has no commercials. Maybe this is a more rare song then.\
But annyway, exelent song again. Somehow, i have heared this one before. Don't know where, but maybe in a game, or at a friends house. I like this one even more! (Maybe because i actually know this one :-P), like the live background song, as it suits the superb sound of your drumkit!
@stormcenter3 Thanks! Yea - one of my better fills at 1:34! Fun to play these songs as this band uses two drummers and a percussionist for their groove... makes it a nice challenge to try and keep up with.
Forgot to mention love the fills BTW.
