Nobody seems to know that in addition to attacking while Vovolgia after stunning with the hammer, you can pick at him with arrows while he is flying to shorten the time it takes to deliver a kill.

@toad1596, Oh and I forgot! NOTE: If you sheild with Biggoron Sword and the rocks are falling, PUT AWAY THE SWORD!!! And I recomend you NOT touch Volvagia while she (I don't know why but I almost always say 'she' when referring to it, even if I know it's a male...) breaths fire at you... If you get stuck in a kinda bind you will either die, or get hurt so bad she needs to only hit you once for overkill.

Here's some good tips I think would be handy when fighting Volvagia:

One: If you have it, use the Biggoron's Sword instead of Master Sword.

Two: Run in a wide circle when Volvagia breaths fire at you.

Three: Have PLENTY of fairies with you, Volvagia's attacks are HARSH!

@Insomniariz if you hit a jar or go to a fairys fountain....equip on of your however many bottle as c or d pad and press that c or dpad button you set it as and you link should swing the bottle in an act of trying to capture something....this...with the right aim....you shall capture a pink fairy....and when you die....the fairy automatically escapes the jar and revives you.....damn my fingers hurt

@traynor I do, you'll need the scarecrow song. The scarecrow song is the one you made when playing to the scarecrow as a kid and going back as an adult to play it for the scarecrow again. When he appears, use the long shot to hook onto the scarecrow to pull you up there.

@traynor You need to return later with the Longshot. Then you play the Scarecrow's Song.

@traynor Specifically, you play the Scarecrow's Song in the big maze-like room full of rolling boulders on the right side of the third floor, on top of one of the platforms. The scarecrow will appear on an otherwise inaccessible ledge. Use the Longshot to reach the scarecrow, and there will be a path to the upper area. If memory serves that area has one or two Gold Skulltulas and a Piece of Heart, although it's been quite a while since I've played this game so I'm not sure.

@traynor My bad, it's two Gold Skulltulas and 200 Rupees. No Piece of Heart. Anyway, it's on a ledge above the platform you come out on when you return to the boulder room from the room where a wall of fire chases you across platforms above lava.

Yeah, if you slowly back off the ledge of the crater when your fighting the dragon, when he comes out of the holes to attack, you will climb the sides and he can't get you.
