I love and admire John Walsh. He is a true hero, even though he would never look at himself as being that. He has helped so many families of missing children out of love for his son, Adam. I remember hearing about Adam being murdered right after it happened and I was sickened, wondering what kind of monster could do this to an innocent child? I'm glad the Walsh family got their closure. All those years of not knowing must have been a living hell. I hope Ottis Toole is roasting in hell right now!

its all so heartbreaking... I could not imagine going through what this family had to, just completely honourable and respectable people. I feel terrible, thinking of what that little boy had to go through and his last moments. I cant stand pathetic useless garbage out there, and find it unheard of that someone could do anything like this to a child. John Walsh is one hell of a man, helping Amercians...as well as us Canadians.

John Walsh is a hell of a man for not only handling the loss of his son the way he did, but for how many other people he helped and for how many bad people he put behind bars. The man deserves a Medal of Integrity. I'm just glad him and his family finally have some closure on this ordeal.

God bless John Walsh, in my opinion internally one of the strongest men I know and respect fully. He lost his son but moved on to help other people put away the lowlife garbage that needs to be put behing bars or worst. John Walsh is as close to a saint on earth I would ever know

I see what you're saying. But you should read John's book "Tears of Rage." There is a lot of convincing evidence, outside of Toole's confession, pointing to his guilt as Adam's killer.

I feel thankful to be able to see these tears, for these are tears of relief and sadness after years of torture and uncertainty. Great job on never giving up John. You have more strength than most people. You are a saint for continuing to help others instead of just giving up.

in a way they did not need to take pictures of this moment in time. on the other hand people should see what it is to be a real man and how strong a man can be. john Walsh personally helped more families and people than mother Teresa, he truly should be named a saint.

I think this is a good thing, that they fo und the killer of his son. This will allow him to have closure since not knowing who it was had to have been horrible. So, I'm glad that he finally knows:)
