Look I watched an interview with "agent harris" and several of the other actors but he was the "telling" - when they taped he said the guy at the bar played more of a role - David Chase did alot of "cutting" but there was orginally more to it than what we saw - so several endings (this one included) is not far fetched

After he killed JT Dolan he was back on drugs and while high on Cocaine and driving with Tony he swerved off the road and the SUV flipped a few times down hill. Tony was lucky cause he wore his seat belt so he walked out but Christopher had crushed ribs and was coughing up blood. Instead of phoning police first, he pinched Christopher's nose, suffocating him.
