  • The End of Work: The Decline of the Global Labor Force and the Dawn of the Post-Market Era

     This book is amazing!

  • I say this once and I will say this again. US future lies in developing her natural resources (NG, oil. coal, timber) to employ blue collar and generate income/taxes as we sell it overseas. It means environmentalist must step aside as the US recovers. No jobs if you are stubborn and stay in CA. Move to PA, WY, ND, SD, KY, TN where fracking is. These towns also need cops, teachers, clerks etc as local gov and services need to expand. Go look, stop commiserating.

  • We're not "evolving" from time and measure, we're sculpted into the neo role of superconsumer / merchandising advocates. If anything, the role of time and measure has been infinitely expanded. Its sad that this expansion is taking place in countries that provide for our consumption and it is they that still have the discipline and endurance to maintain that role.

  • I'm doing a new video on DillaranMartinTV about how you can get FREE internet service using a device from Google that plugs into your toilet. I'm completely serious. If you don't believe me that watch my channel or go Google Free Internet. Now that is some information I could use, so I'm going to order their package (for free), and I'll show you how it works on my channel.

  • Nothing new here. That IPOD software has been around for 7 years. Have you ever tried to use an IPod or a Nano as a phone? YOU CAN BARELY HEAR ANYTHING. If you don't mind having the person on the other end scream so you can hear them then fine, but then you can only use it for 20 minutes/month. I can make one phone call and be put on HOLD for 20 minutes! Kids don't need to call autoinsurance companies, cable companies, the bank, all of which can put you on hold for a long time.

  • Good video.

  • Just one hour for it: TRANSHUMANISM, part of the elite plans, like eugenics

  • All technology is advancing greatly, especially in health. id say that all this technology is just a test for how to keep advancing for the elite to use later on, especially the health advances. Id recommend the video ENDGAME,

  • Research Ray Kurzweil and the transhumanist movement.

  • Why don't people get it. These kids don't have jobs, because all jobs have been outsourced to China. You cannot have a country with 300 million people all having service jobs. There are just not enough service jobs out there. All US manufacturing was moved to Asia in the last 20 years. At first it lifted the standard of living of all the Americans, but now it is catching up with you. You will need to bring the jobs back if you want people to have a decent life. Bring the jobs back !!!

  • @peshkov1234 I agree!! But it goes back to greedy companies, cheap labor. People still making the same amount of money while prices keep rising.

  • the biggest problem is that mom and dad work and the kid does w.e he wants

  • Stay on this story George like a dog on a bone. This vlog was informative to me.

  • as a young adult of this new generation i agree with everything your saying because its true

  • What does all that wireless transmission do to humans?

Great report George. Can't wait to see you on RT.

  • Govt/Adversary always try to break marriages so they can control/manipulate those kids...

  • Think of all the ways the Internet has added to your lifestyle. I can honestly see a day (probably pretty soon) when the Internet will make government obsolete. All people will govern themselves online whether than delegate representatives to govern for them. Soon people will see that the only true and just government is no government. Although this maybe lofty concept it is one that I believe the youth our society could understand...

  • and sadly its much harder getting work if you are unemployed at middle age- at least as a youth youve normally got good health, a clean credit history, etc. going for you.

  • Unemployment at 8.5 % Right ? LOL

  • I just cancelled my sprint plan ...I use that free text and call app on the iphone and a portable wifi hotspot... 40 bucks a month vs 120..perfect

  • Not here for trolling, anyway not all of us are lazy bastards, but most people my age are. I'm not. Too many are obsessed with image and false portrayals of success. Many don't know that success is a tough road to travel and get easily discouraged. And to all of those who think all of us are doomed to fail--generalization is yet another form of ignorance.

  • Technology has taken over. My 15-year-old asked me how did I do research for school without the internet. I said, "I went to the library." She helps her friend with homework using Skype, so yeah, there's not much need for face-to-fce for a lot of things now. It's disconnecting people too much.

  • Fatherlessness is a buy product of femenism. Go ahead and enjoy your fucked up society LMAO.

  • @DIJV79

Agree. You dont see that shit in asia cause feminism doesn't rule there YET.

  • These kids are worthless and they cannot compete in the global economy. They do not want to work hard and aquire assets they would rather buy spinning rims and they like to take drugs. Oh well! thats just how it goes.

  • @DIJV79 your comments are ignorant.

  • @chefextra Obviously not if you responded to my comments jackass.

  • @DIJV79 Okay, I'm sorry I just thought you were dissing someone, but I didn't hear the whole conversation I guess.

  • I will say i changed my thoughts on technology when i had to go without it for 6 months for Marine Training lol. i think all the modern youth needs to have about 3 months no technologies then they will have a better understanding of the world and have to do productive work instead of waste time.

  • @ItsKarma100 Hmm? you clip coupons, but yet you say, you run your own business. Ohh? you must be a rapper or one of those EMO punk rock fags, I see in Worthingtons in downtown Riverside who don't even have a dollar to pay for there drinks pssh!

  • @DIJV79 LOL I'm all the way in Michigan, and I don't rap, I produce and engineer. And coupons save me more of the money that I earn, they come to my inbox so I don't have to waste time searching. You don't build upon your money by spending it needlessly.

  • certainly food for thought

  • as a teen, I actually find this very, very intersting

  • So the little bastard "had" to tag the wall cuz he didn't have a Dad? Sounds like an excuse. I'm sure his Mom does a good job, and he pays her back like that. I'm sure there was a good reason for the divorce. Divorce is hell- why else would they do it?

Good vid and good observation George.

  • But the media told me the unemployment numbers are down and the economy is in a recovery?

  • This is good news for people in their 30's and older who have a good work ethic and are driven. Think about it. If you're in your 30's you probably have 40 or more years to work with the way things are going with retirement savings/soc. security. Your work ethic might keep you employed for life. Businesses aren't going to find that in the generations coming up behind you. So, take advantage of it - old farts like me! ha! Never thought old school would apply to you already 30-somethings...

  • @RioAbajoBelen i am 27

  • I know kids my age that have 3 jobs, and I know others that have 1 and others that have none.

It depends on the person, I think most the youth would want to do something they liked if the oppurtunity came along for it. MOST WANT TO WORK, THEY JUST DON"T KNOW WHERE YET. some don't like there options.

Also, I do think that our generation is more focused on LEARNING AND SOCAILIZING. due to the INTERNET. basically alot of NERD power

most will go with less trading it for TIME doing what they like

  • But i know u have to know certain people to get parthnership first then they hire you to play videogames but you have to buy an HD PVR recorder so u can record videogames i think they make like10,000 $ a week just by doing commentary and beinga comedian on the site when they post videos like that.but you have to be real good at it anyways dude thanks for the video these an anime called Ghose in the shell stand alone complex and in like 30-40+ years from now thats gonna be us sadly =( see ya bro

  • yeah your definitly onto something george, like my generationhas all these nice things in technology but i dont pay much attention to it anymore cause almost years ago i wasa sheeple when it came to gold silver and the feds taking over the world and i blamed stuff like ipods and certain entertaionment activities and industries on having me asleep on that .I mean theres still ways of making money .I mean on youtube alone im not sure if u heard about this big company channel called MachinimaRealm

  • I'm sorry but a lot of the youth unemployment exists because of illegal immigration, particularly here in california.

  • @chefextra and illegal immigration exists because of globalists agenda of lopsided resource distribution among countries by manipulating currency rates, supply and many other political policies. It is divide and rule policies made possible using common man's greed!

  • @chefextra so what kind of job would you want from an "illegal" ? Please keep an open mind and realize we are all humans regardless of religion, race, etc.

  • @heiyin70 I'm not in the age group that he is talking about, and I have more education, but for a teenager often their first job is usually in a fast food place or some kind of unskilled work. Unfortunately these jobs are usually now taken by illegal immigrants so younger people cannot have them anymore, causing high youth unemployment. These are documented facts, reflected by statistics, so it is not a question of me not having an 'open mind'. Playing the race card is a cheap move!

  • I hvae no money too but I dont worry because GOD provides for me evry day. After my prayinf there is $1000 on my account hahahahahah

    GOD IS GREAT

  • the way to destroy a society is to destroy the men. Society has done this to a great degree, In an oppressive state the women will cower in fear and obey. It is the men who will stand up and fight back. Very few men in society, sure there's little boys with big muscles but the second the state challenges them they drop to their knees and squeal. It takes a man, a hero to stand up against a morally corrupt society.

  • If this is confusing to you, let me explain. I'm 32, and hell I work a part-time job when I want and just hang out "persuing hobbies" as G$T put it, why?, because a low paying job wastes valuable time and stresses you out. Money is cheap. Life is cheapened by our politics. Parents lie when they teach American "exceptionalism". I'm a published poet and know desert survival. I have a husband. That's my life.

  • It leads to impersonal relationships where people do not know how to connect with there fellow man/woman in real life, which in turn makes it easier for our controllers to control us.

  • Hi Tech for me was two tin cans with a string inbetween for communication and super Hi tech was a walkitalki with a range of about 50ft HAHAHA. I had the telstar tv game system and a commodore 64 too. We had 1 channel on the tv until I was 14 when we got cable which had a whopping 13 channels to choose from. Things sure have changed!

  • i think i know what your speaking of.. they look horrified if you send them out no cell phone.. and say go play and be back for dinner.. they say .. how am i supposed to find anyone? im like i never had a phone.. and i managed just fine as a kid.. they are lost.. but mind you when I was a kid.. i could go play all day at the park and i didnt get picked up by a pedo.. today same park is full of them.. sad very sad.. i hope that they ballance out the ratio lil better soon.. its a new era/age.

  • This generation has a long shot at the (fraud) American Dream.

  • These kids with their Ipods are going no where fast. Evolving into a civilization based on...social networking...great...that's just great....

The more I hear about "young Americans", the more I realize how hopeless America has become.

Enjoy your uber-hip and impoverished lifestyle, kids.

  • As for the "taggers": If America had laws like Singapore, and these punks were facing getting caned for vandalizing private property with spray paint (tagging), then they probably wouldn't be tagging either...

Americans are pansies and they have the crappy country and government they deserve.

  • Unfortunatley, we will see the kids raise din Asian countries come over here, and LORD OVER the USA 10 to 25 yr olds!! They have an ETHIC, parents make them work hard.. Ours are dumbed down and doped up with a PHONY ILLNESS called ADHD!! If you have young ones, reduce technology, HOME SCHOOL,.. We hav elost any Moral Compass, not like other Countries.. WE are no longer a Meritocracy, EVERY KID gets a trophy!! That is why other Chineese kids will control oUR Kids!!

  • @Bl3wbyyou9486 im 26 but I sure want to buy things and get girls...thats why i worked myself with school and exams to get a job.

  • Now has anyone mentioned about what Wifi means--where the radiation comes from and all that? Ie., why is there no talk about how these ionvisible radiations may effect us healthwise. ESPECIALLY where their masts are.

  • I think people can be negatively affected if they don't manage the chatter from modern tech. When you check your facebook, comments for replies, google analytics, article updates, twitter etc you find you've done so much and achieved so little at the end of a working day.

I turned my Facebook notification off on my Blackberry because it was beeping too often.

  • @stuntpea I don't have a FB account.

  • G I had the same upbringing mom dad split when we were young and we just didn't have the guidance we needed. I didn't try to tag that was not popular I was about getting laid I spent my time working and trying to get with the females. Older women husband offshore, girls my age as long as they had the fire down below we had something in common. Not the best way to grow up but hey at least I lived and didn't cap myself bc someone didn't approve of me. I knew there were better people to do. Gigady

  • It's called "Death by Technology" - That's where your jobs and the life is being sucked out of you.

Too much Whining and no action.

Wake the hell up America! - Join the Revolution

    Read “Common Sense 3.1” at ( revolution2.osixs.org )

FIGHT THE CAUSE - NOT THE SYMPTOM

  • I've noticed that young kids have absolutely NO work ethic or etique. They don't make eye contact, have a poor hand shake, mumbling, and do not think twice to get on their cell phone or internet during work. In my day they would be thrown out on their ass for doing some of the things they do during work. In a way it's not their fault becaue they were not taught any better.

  • @onetwo3349 I knowwww! you the boss maaan?? why not get a taser and shock them into submission?

    'in myyyy day' ? LOL

  • @onetwo3349 It's precisely because of that kind of behavior that I find myself increasingly unable to have any. sympathy. at. all. for young Americans.

  • @onetwo3349 I agree 100%. I'm in my late 40's & I don't talk on my cell during work hrs or while driving. If I would have abused my time like that, I wouldn't have had a job being their age. They text, abuse their cell phone or work phone during business hrs. Thank God I'm not their boss or they would be out the door in a heart beat. As you said, they have no respect or work ethic. It's going to be funny as HELL when cell phones go down. They will be suicidal.

  • @onetwo3349 Please don't blame youth. Unless you know every single persons situation from age 18-25 you have no right to assume stuff. The system we are living under is a disaster.

Our society is a total mess.

  • The jobs that is usually for the youth are being taken away from them by older adults that have lost their career jobs and they have to settle for less. The youth will always be technological savvy because we are taught how to use computers at a young age. Plus, the older generation is still stuck in the 1980s time frame and don't know how far advance technology has become. It does seems like more of the youth are using social networking more often.

  • College student right here... I use my busted laptop as a web server... I paid 20 bucks for a domain name, and now I have my website hosted in my room. :P

  • I love you videos George thanks for all that you do.....Happy New Year!

  • What is poverty, exactly?

  • It looks like you have a bruise around your right eye. Are you doing okay?

  • I think the best response to this vid is:

"Doesn't matter if you're drunk or flipped out, the broccoli you and me gathered was good."

  • I feel what you are saying. I'm seeing it too!

  • thought*

  • but don't worry i aint' callin' you no though criminal ya' hear? lol

  • i think you think too much

  • you can't eat wireless. these kids are the result of a degradation of society that will result in us becoming more and more dependent on parent/government support. you are on to something - it is the NWO. they have made "the system" so ridiculous that they choose not to participate however in the long run there will come a time where your food and shelter must come from *somewhere*. when mommy and daddy die who will take you in? the government - NWO - take this chip - live in this camp - NI HAO

  • Im going in reverse...Simplify,Screw all this garbage. I notice more kids becoming De-tached. They cant even hold a conversation. Detached from "Human" Interaction. I got a Device its called a Middle Finger! Instead of being Dumbed down People should be paying attention to whats going on...Like the Signing of the NDAA on New Years Eve-Are you friggin kidding me! Wake up you bunch of Mind Numb Jackasses. George,"awhile" ago i saw one of your earlier vids...Glad your doing better.

  • @vonsmink1 lol they should call the next phone "The Middle Finger" as that is what you are essentially giving everyone when you pull it out in social situations.

  • Its all been planned. The technotronic era is upon us. Tons of aimless people with too much technology is not good. Our emotional/spiritual level has not evolved with it and there is an imbalance that will lead to our unwitting enslavement.

  • Its kinda like they're hacking for food. How about a story on the homeless using technology. If you think about it if you have an IPad and I'm sure theres other simpler cheaper devices, then you can get online and in some cases make videos. A homeless person in theory could actually posts videos and make some money online. I doubt you'll find that however.

  • People are becoming very addicted to technology, that's why you have the break-down of real communities, which I think why College life is so popular, it's the one true communal-type village aspect a lot of that generation still has (my gen). You can also see this addictions effect on industrialization and farming, both of which are hurting really bad right now because the internet had made it so easy to outsource, and since everyone is on facebook, no one wants to plant a garden or pick crops.

  • @atomagenesis One would have the impression, IMHO,that technology can do anything such as plant gardens and grow food and one gets to stay on facebook and play video games. Many think that they have decoupled from the physical world.

  • @jimbobubbadj Exactly right, that's the problem. Instead of technology being a means for an end, it has become the end in itself (Think Apple product lines at release). Everyone is on drugs and inside all day because they don't wanna go outside into physical reality, sunlight, planting food, being fit, working on projects, they're too busy playing Call of Duty and Farmville. I quit my cubicle IT job because I realized what it was doing to my mind and soul, gonna get a farm after the army.

  • That wireless stuff is SO unhealthy. They limit it in France. Even in a McDonald's, for example. Employees exposed to it were getting so sick, it became a cost burden for society. Headaches, depression, muscle wasting.

  • You are on to something George. The Internet is allowing the citizens of Earth to share experiences and information at the speed of light. Access is getting cheaper and cheaper. Tradition phones and cable TV may quickly be a thing of the past. the

  • I think we are in the midst of Gen Y rage and understandably so. Have you heard about the "maker movement" G4T??

  • There's now doubt about it, what we see as value is shifting. I don't think that we're moving to a system of poverty, however. People are just becoming more aware of the voids that we all experience when it comes to our careers and personal living.

  • well basically what you are smelling is the social engineering progress of the sustainable living arrangement that is being developed for the smart growth communities project for the new american century. this can be seen by google'ing PNAC.

  • George I have t-mobile prepaid. Only get the data access when im on the road and need the navigation or internet surfing. So I pay 2 bucks for a 24 hour pass. I only need it once in a great while so instead of paying a thousand bucks for a phone and data plan like the moron iphone crowd im only paying 100 bucks for phone and data for an entire year (dont use voice much).

  • That's one reason these kids are failing. Excelling in soccer and figuring out how to get free wireless is a waste of time. They should be spending their time learning how to MAKE soccer balls and ipods. I blame the parents.

  • That's me

  • fuck dem little bastards. i didn,t has no cell phone/computer when i was 17 and grew up jus fine.

  • Great video Love you stuff.

  • I was doing the same thing with my android phone that i got on black friday for $50 bucks

just using apps and facebook to connect and communicate, after a month or so i got a $35 plan

so that i can be contacted by jobs. no luck yet ! i have been considering the wwoofing life, if i don't find a job soon. I'm not trippin over it.

  • What i do is buy bicycles off craigslist that are beat up and neglected and restore them in my free time (while listening to youtube feed. Never waste a minute of your life) and sell them back or keep them.

  • @Bl3wbyyou9486 interesting.

  • like buck minister fuller's book, he talks about we society get more from less. we will soon get more from almost zero with advanced science and tech and efficiency.

  • @mrzack888 thanks, ill check it out

  • @mrzack888. What's the title? The author is Buck minister fuller?

  • @1977Melville buckminster fuller. The book title: the critical path.

  • @mrzack888 So far tech has only produced gadgets that use energy. It takes energy to do things.

  • @jimbobubbadj no, tech has produced more energy efficient products, and logistical manufacturing abilities are more efficient and take less energy than previous. also not to mention green technology such as solar which is becoming cheaper and cheaper to produce.

  • you're definitely on something very very important here , but for now it's still blurry and we have to dig in it deeper and wait and see how it evolves in the next years with the new contact-less technologies : RFID , NFC , smaller and more intelligent devices ... ect

  • deflation cometh. housing will NEVER recover with the way the echo boomers are not spending.

  • George you are maturing into a great presence on the screen. I have been watching you since 2008. I think you are the epitome of what youtube was designed for. Thanks

  • @pozzimystic thanks pozz, just rapping with you guys

  • Its Big Brother.

  • Yeah I feel you're on to something here G4T - these people are (like me) doing 'bricolage' - leveraging existing technology for their own ends, in a kind of 'cottage industry' manner. Mass production has given us ultra-cheap technological stuff but we all want to use that in our own way, customize it, surf the wave of it. Its signalling an end to acquisition of tech for its own sake and a swing towards better leveraging what we already have.

  • @abraxalito what's is scary to me, is what does it mean to have a society where a large portion doesn't work

  • @george4title are you still thinking of 'work' in the traditional sense of a 9-5 thing at a place you commute to? I suspect for these guys 'work' becomes trading cool stuff, probably by bartering. Certainly that's where I'm heading with my 'business' plans.

  • @abraxalito not sure. but its uncharted territory.

  • @george4title uncharted in a way but also its an instance of Clayton Christenson's 'Disruptive Innovation' I feel - this is how the big institutions (corporations, government) get eaten away from beneath like a bunch of termites having lunch.

  • @abraxalito interesting. checking it out now. its amazing how within one second I can research names and books you guys mention to me in the comment section

  • i feel you on that smart fone issue dogg...i dont need 24/7 internet on my cell either...im happy with a prepaid flip :)

  • Well as long as the govt doesn't shut down the internet and mess it up with taxes, fees, and other crap the haven't come up with yet, the internet can be used to create some level of work for people to survive. New uses will be thought up and someone has to make that infrastructure. The kids of today will use it think up stuff that has not been thought of. The traitors in govt will find some way to screw it up. They are looking for any way to kill the economy and bring the USA to its knees.

  • what a screwed up world we live in now, yep the borg kids wired in to the collective, what fun, 2012 cant come fast enough for me, i hate this screwed up mess

  • I think people are using what technology is available and leveraging it to the best advantage. I can tell you this G I wouldn't have near the lifestyle I have without this technology. I would be in total poverty and probaly would have killed myself 10 years ago.

Technology is not without a price though, there are many prices we pay and I won't list all of em except for things like always being available, your on call all the time with your cellphone, never alone to reflect. Some like it.

  • @valhala56 to much tech can mess w your head as well brotha

  • @george4title I have lived 55 years, most of it with a lot less tech. I can tell you at least for me it's better now then say 1956, 1966,1976,1986.

  • @valhala56

yeah its called porn. Porn these days is so good that I can't even replicate the experience with my hookers. LOL

  • @EWOKCAD In the old days you had to go downtown to one those peep shows, Now they got better stuff on the internet and it's free. No more feeding quarters makins somebody else rich.

  • Destruction of the family is never good. What is tagging?

  • @westin1985 Graffit Artist

  • @westin1985 In the real world, it's slang for Graffiti, usually done with markers, sharpies, etc. On modern websites, it refers to assigning keywords to information or including a saying that a friend was present in a picture (a la Facebook).

  • I love technology, but I hate how everything is going towards smartphones and social networking. Integrating social networking with the job and everything else that you want to do on the Net is a terrible idea. Smartphones in and of themselves are outstanding, IMO.

  • Great vid .by the way....really got me thinking.

  • He was using an ipod touch with probaly skype. It's just like using a cellphone, the skye application is the same interface, you can use bluetooth and you don't pay for any stinking Verizon or ATT. F@#k them where it hurts.

  • Once parents can't feed the kids anymore, they'll be kicked to the curb. You said this in one of your previous videos. Right now, the Fed is paying the world's bills, credit for life, but once this ends, the parents support will end. Then things get interesting.

  • @powergirl901 then they will look to your advise to survive

  • Technology is great......if we lived in a different society. In some ways i feel so bad for this new generation.

  • George, you have my permission to tell Google that if I don't see your videos as much as three times a week, then I start feeling very antsy. In other words, I'm addicted to your videos.

  • @powergirl901 He is mind fucking you. I heard this term from him first.

  • @westin1985 George is the one guy in the world who should get paid to do his videos.

  • @westin1985 lol...I didn't invent that term westin
