Ya got me convinced on the Hammocks Shug but theys pricey as all get out (tarps too) Im got a few idears to get me started hammock hiking but Its gonna be home made as hell. Im gonna get a double no frills hammock and gonna use an old rain fly from a busted tent for a tarp.

It breathes as it has gaps around the hammock ..... just boosts warmth and keeps the breeze off ... in theory. I am getting ready to make one so expect a video.....

That's right Shug, and it's very light walmart ripstop. Not very tightly woven .  It breathes well.

I am tent dweller for life, I know, I know. But I am starting to think about a hammock for quick trips now, just seems way lighter than a tent. Whooo Buddy, keep up the good work Shug.

That chair was tight probably the lightest most comfortable set up.

The wind is very neat. Love listening to the trees when the wind sails through thier canopy.
