That's really choppy... The song, keep in mind, should be very fluid and graceful. I have the sheet music from when I played this in 8th grade, and there isn't anything that says to tongue it very hard. Also, the rhythm doesn't seem steady. I don't mean to put you out of playing flute or being in band, but this is just constructive commentary, Keep at it, and I hope you achieve excellence. =)
also you need to not breathe after everynote. just after every 16 beats and not at a bar line. I am i 10th grade and learned these really simple things in 6th grade. you should know better. and tone is never easy to consistently control. try doing some pitch bending exercises more often and you'll have down pat after a while.

you need to make your flute parallel to the ground-and you sound real airy because your slumped over on a bouncy bed- you need to stand up straighten your popsitioning, and blow smoth even air
This song is not hard note-wise, I agree. You need to focus on TONE. In this video you sound like a terrible screaching. If you listen to a professional play this, it sounds smooth, flowing, and connected. You don't. I know your only in 7th grade, but you want to sound as best as you can. You guys played this to increase your tone.

Then in for 3 out for 4. Repete 2 more times. Then in for two out for 4. Repete 2 more times. Then in for 1 out for 4. not so loud on the attacks of then notes. and not so loud either!! for most of the song the flute does not have the melody! this song is a huge clarinet/oboe solo (depending on what your director chooses) so you are the underlying notes!
Make sure you sit up straight on the end of your bed/chair, work on your breathing. You tone is very good actually I like it, and the song is very good as well, and make sure your notes touch all the way to the end. almost connecting.

Intersting I also play & if you could stop play-breathing it would sound alot better if you take a DEEP intake of breath & tounge it is better but, don't worry I did that my first YEAR.if you could give me the notes on the staff as a video it would be great as I like that song alot!
i think that is great. i play the flute too. i think you should keep your fingers closer to the keys though because if you are playing a very fast song you need to get to the keys as fast as you can. my flute teachers say you need to keep the notes you are playing a secret and i could clearly point out what notes you are playing, but besides that you were awesome and btw don't breathe so much. just take in as much air as you can after each 4 or 5 notes.
in the beggin from mesure 1 to 12 it is piano, also try to stager breath it will help alot and it will sond wayyy better. mice job staying on pitch and countin. yuhr great..

Try not to tongue too hard at the start of each note, and think about using consistent air (don't breathe after every note!)

We played this at a competition last year. It was great :)

but I really do love that song,
