this video did it for me...I've been trying forever to get the purl continental thing down and just couldn't get it right...makes ribbing soooo much easier...thank you
This is a really good video. I have been knitting for years. I can knit continental style, but the purl i can't master. I watched another video, but it was too fast to understand. This is great just the right speed and it looks like something that will work for me.
This looks like a good method of purling when doing 1/1 ribbing because then there is no need to change the side of the yarn, it always stays behind. I was getting frustrated doing it for a sock on a set of 5 dpns to boot. This should take care of the problem. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I was having problems with my stockinette worked flat being wonky, and my ribbing, too, and this is taking care of it. My Swedish Gramma taught me to knit continental many moons ago, and i don't remember if she purled this way.
Thank you! I had tried reading several sets of instructions and was hopelessly confused. After watching and following along with your video, I am purling.
This is a great video...I had heard about this method and I wanted to learn it to speed up my knitting. I really like how the stitch is done multiple times!!!
Thank you so much... Your explanation and demonstration is great. I finally get it!!

This makes so much more sense to see it then just read it in a book. Thank you so much.

Thank you. Keeping the yarn in back is so much easier than remembering to bring the yarn to the front.
