The Westerners did harm the Byzantine Empire more than any Muslims or other invaders from the East. In its effort to dominate Europe culturally and politically, the Vatican was considering the Byzantines a big enemy. Because of this history it's normal that even today Orthodox people are cautious with the Catholics.

The voice is perfect! I noticed everybody agrees, but if you just knew the lyrics (words) of the hymns you would be more delighted by the meaning and messages they convey.
Wherever you come from (I am from Norway), it is impossible to ignore the beauty of this voice and this music.

This seems to be a world-wide 'youth' crisis in regard to respect/preservation of culture, language,,, not just in Greece, love.

@Mrwilwak No he did not forbid war but he said that those who take the sword shall die by the sword. I mean nothing is forbidden. We are allowed to do whatever we want, but in the end we will be judged by what we have done. So if you want to kill people, go kill them, because the judgement will be yours.

@Sunduc Cd-en du kan kjøpe bare i Serbia eller kanskje Hellas, tror jeg. Jeg er ikke sikker at du kan finne den på nettet. Jeg så denne CD-en og slik på kirka butikken og på klostrer. CD-en er også litt gammel så det er litt vanskelig å finne den. Du kan også høre på denne sangen /watch?v=RwFYUJb03d0. Det er byzantine musikk. Jeg liker den veldig godt. Jeg fant album fra Divna så jeg kan sende deg :-).

The anthem "Pure Virgin - Rosemary is a non-liturgical hymn composed by St. Nektarios of Aegina in the 19th century, during his tenure as director of the Theological School at Athens Rizarios.
The tradition says the Virgin to appear before the St. Nektarios of Aegina in the convent, and asks him to record on paper a special hymn, where the angelic choirs were ready to sing. This hymn was "Pure Virgin - Rosemary.
