The wonderful character of Doug's playing is just like other great guitar player, they are drummer's first and fore most. They rhythym is there no matter what, even if he falls out of a signature lick he still picks it up as he knows where he is all the time. Knows where to start and to finish and in between. One hell of a talented player, I was at this concert. Very memerable. David Coverdale makes the right decisions about his guitarist. Now please get a hot drummer please.

he just dont boost his Signal so much as other players.He has more som kind of a softer Sound than a Screaming one like Zakk Wylde for an Example. But his Playing is Killer. The strength of his picking and the Hammer ons are Brutal.
