Only thing that happens to me once in a while is when I pre-order a game I say PS3 yet they try to give me a XBOX 360 version game cause that is what they assumed I wanted. So now I always let them know twice which one I want if it's for the PS3 or 360.

I know why exactly you shop at gamestop...
1. its one of the only places around
2. they sell a lot of games cheaper than they usually go for
3. every now and then a rare game pops in ther eat a reasonable price
