Lleyton is an amazing counter-puncher but he looks slow against Roger. Federer's movement is incredible and that's saying something against someone of Hewitt's caliber. Also Roger is taken the ball earlier and its like he can read Hewitt's strokes ahead of time.
@yodakaiwi He was a better player in 2000. Before 2003 (Roger's first Grand slam win) he spent 80 weeks at number one and won US Open and Wimbledon. Of course Federer is a much better player with way more success now, but you can't criticise people for stating facts as they were twelve years ago.
As much as Lleyton can be hated, he has done a lot for Australia and Australia should be grateful...

And then later on in the year, after SEVEN years, Hewitt finally gets his revenge.

I watched a 2000 doubles match of federer vs hewitt and the commentators were saying how Hewitt was a over all better player...yeah, no.

@yodakaiwi he was a better player in 2000, but then Hewitt kept getting injured and lost his speed and Federer turned into a god

Its funny how Federer just needs one clean look with his forehand to nail the winner.
