The joke here is that Stephen King wrote a horror novel wherein a Cemetary for Pets (yes they exist) was created over an indian burial ground (back when this was an original idea). As a result there's a curse wherein anything buried there returns to life, but not as the creature they once were (zombie, demon, etc). So, a guy buries a PERSON there and *fill in blank*
