  • If music lovers want to know why the media ignores Belafonte, simply check out what all Hollywood producers, most recording labels, most investment bankers, most oil corporation owners, and most media owners have in commom. Harry's espousel of human and civil rights isues offends these people. His appearance at the NY OCCUPY will renew their enmity.

Personally, I believe his rendition of Cucurrucucu Paloma most successfully conveys the heart-wrenching anguish of lost love that Mendez intended.

  • Wow !...... it's a pity my verbal expression can only be understood, by those listening . OK, That was supurb :-) xxx

  • wow what a beautiful man

  • bravo bravo e ancora braavo!

  • Great! I love Harry Belafonte

  • Great man on many levels.

  • ¡WOW...! My Lord, why... This is really an extraordinary tribute of mexican popular music I've ever heard! Elvis perhaps would be so sad to compare his own versions of Guadalajara in Fun i Acapulco with magnificent Mr Bellafonte!

  • Belafonte is totally a legend and he is the most underrated singer ever

    Legend

  • Johnxx20000,ty ty thank you. I've been looking for paloma by mr. belafonte forever. he and mama africa are soooo important to me. I'm trimbleing as I listen to this new find for the first time.

    THANKS AGAIN.

    PEACE.

  • You're most welcome!!

  • I love Harry Belafonte! The entertainer is only a small piece of what this man has accomplished in his lifetime. It saddens me that the media does not involve him more in these last years. He has always spoken the truth - no matter how painful it may be to hear. Truly a great humanitarian.

  • EXTRAORDINAIRE !!! Thanks a lot !

  • Thanks for this, absolutely fantastic!

  • Johnxxx200000, you are the man.

I also noticed you've posted Mama Miriam Makeba, which give me the sense that you've got a serious soul. Great find please keep up the great work... I love this stuff man it make my soul happy it take me back to my childhood in belize. I knew it was sunday morning in bze. when i heard my granny playing liza and paloma.

    GRACIAS!!!

    y PEACE.
