There's a big error in the image cause you have a black halo in the left part of letter 'H' and behind you have flame do you think this is fisically correct...it's also particularly disturbing considering the position.

oh ok now I see what your talkin about. Yeah its really not a big deal just an oversight when doing the liquify step. This image was made solely for the tutorial so I wasnt too concerned with the outcome.

There are a few things that I couldn't do in this video using CS4. But oh well.

Also I advise getting the smudge tool and blurring the fire a bit. Looks a bit more realistic.

PLease help me i have done this before and it always worked but now when i go to Hue/sat and Select colorize and do 20/100 like you said the color does not change!!!

so i change the lightness/darkness and then i can see the color but when i do the layer effect it just changes the color and does not do the flame look!!!!

I think it's because u created a 16-bit image.. Try with 8-bit image and i think that will fix ur problem..

This was done with Photoshop Elements 2.0 so I'm guessing you can do it with pretty much any version because mine is very outdated. The shortcuts and stuff may be a little different but the basic idea is still the same.

Now I know what went wrong.. the new layer was the problem.. but 1 thing: I have the exaxt problem as Antiproli. I have adobe photoshop CS3 extended and I can find hue/saturation but I can't open it because it is gray... I did exactly what was said in the movie.

Depends on what version of Photoshop you are using. If you have a menu option called "Enhance" go to Enhance - Adjust Color - Hue/saturation and that should bring up that box for you. Ctrl + U is just a shortcut to get to it.
