@TheDangerousKid you should try and post it I remember that one he ripped then too, I think he was flipping over the big 4 hipped funbox every time when others struggled to ollie it, he backside flipped it and powerslid for about 15 feet if I remember. I also didtinctivly remember the likes certain visiting americans really taking the piss out of him, albeit he was totally oblivious to the whole contest, the crowd and what he was doing anyway which made it even funnier!

@WhiteLabelRoor yea back in the super small wheels days for a while there jason lee was one of the best street skaters and skating was so different back then when nobody did it..i think it was way better for that reason..i think we are already to the point where skating cant go to much further and they will have to change the way its done and branch it out so it dont get old and fade away..it happened before..at 1st it was only half pipe type stuff popular n then street skating came.whats next?

@d0n77 I agree, skating can't really progress anymore. I mean there's only so many things you can possibly do on board with four wheels. Personally I dont give a shit about super tech tricks or going super big. What matters to me is style and making even simple tricks look and feel good. Seems to me a lot of the newer generation dont have much style. Guys like Jason Lee, Jeremy Klien, Reese Forbes, Salman Agah...they could make a simple lipslide look so good.

Radlands was wicked but a lot of the time it had a layer of scum over everything that made the whole place slippery as ice, literally like an ice rink. The old roll in was so fun though, you could launch right out of it and get crazy flips, but if it was a slippery day you could fall like a sack of shit at the bottom, I remember Penny on a slippery day rolling in and playing with power slides he would start sliding as soon as he came of the roll in and get so far, ok if you get free wheels!

tom penny has always been the shit even here when he is like 15 he is the SHIT. then when he was about 19 he was the greatest of all time in my opinion hands down. No skateboarder is more sick than tom penny age 17-19 he is my inspiration for all of my skateboarding and still today has the best style of any pro, just doesnt jump down huge shit like A.R. or some others.
