I have been taking Omeprazole in its varied forms for ten years, twice daily. My only problem is that-bear with me-I have recently had ribs break for no apparent reason. My wife says that she read once of a side a effect attributed to the drug which caused bone (density) loss. Can anyone else verify that?
No wonder I'm still fucking nauseous! I just got my gallbladder out last week and I still have this chalky medicine tablet taste in my mouth!!! Its this shit! Ive been sick since June with Nausea from food poisoning and the doctors tell me i'm nauseous from acid. that pork fucked up my stomach now i'm dealing with this shit! x-(
The only side effect this guy has is hypochondria. Is he still alive after all of this? I haven't as much as burped in the 12 days I have been on Omeprazole. My guess is that he took this with some LSD and a side of heroin. Good luck, buddy!
Thanks for the information, I had a horrible experience after a week of taking Omeprazole I had an episode of blur vision and one day from no were I went blind for almost 60 seconds ,I am a very healthy person so went back to the Doctor for a ck and every thing with me was ok ( I mean blood pressure ,blood sugar etc )
So I stop taking the medicine and the symptoms have stopped.
what medicine dosent have side effects??? Ive been taking this for 8 months and without it i dont know were id be right now, my acid reflux was so bad i had trouble breathing, this medicine feels like its saved my life, thank god i havent had 1 side effect and my quality of life is 1000 times better but thank you for making ppl aware of what could potentially happen to them if they take this
i get most of the stomach pain effects and got back ache quite allot o.O

@kunstlerbildDB Yes, an increased rick of bone fracture is a known side effect of Omeprazole, especially after such a long period of (ab)use.

@ShadowEcho25 Yeah, I don't think the author is trying to say don't take it, just be aware.
Glad ur 1000 times better, great to hear. I did suffer some side effects, only mild and prefered the side effects to my Acid Reflux
