your showing off your kid and if i had a kid like that i would to ,great job little one and great job to dad for working with him. thats awesome and keep up the good work and videos,God bless.
Your son is adorable and bless ..take good care of him..he has an excellent accent in languages like Spanish... and he seems to enjoy learning..teach him how to know(conocer) rather than to know (saber)..would love to know how he does as he grows..keep updating... :0)
Where's the genius? No doubt that he is good at remembering stuff, and that that vastly improves his ability to become a genius someday... nvrmind im just a grumpy old man...
Okay dad, tell us how much time you have spent teaching him this? He is very clever, no question. I just think his parents are very devoted to teaching him.
"And what are you sitting on?". "Yes, a sofa, that's right! And that is where you will sit until Daddy gets some money for touting his son's vital years of learning."
@Mutihellos I don't think that's the case. A 3 year old that can read hard to pronounce words like foreign capitals is still equally as impressive though.
What he does is cool, no doubt, but that doesn't mean he's a genius. It's not that difficult to teach little children these things, you just have to have the ambition to do it, and a willing kid. No offence :)
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo south africa rocks i live there its awsome just like america just we can fit 52 south africas into america lol
Please parents, Read to your children! Your child will begin to love reading, and develop strong skills. I wouldn't be earning an Associates degree in high school without my parents!
@AlllStarEnt How's it sad? God forbid parents actually spend time with their kids and help them with their education. PS: "Revise" I think you mean "recite"...? Perhaps this kid can help tutor you with your English?
He seems like a fairly intelligent child, and if he continues to learn at the speed he seems to be learning at, he could grow up to be a very successful person. But he did look rather bored, and he might eventually stunt his growth in intelligence height if he doesn't find what he is doing interesting or at least tolerable.
I challenge your kid to a capital city duel. I've known the world capitals, American, Canadian, Australian and German state/province capitals since I was 9. My speed is far superior also.
@turtlelovingzombie agreed, i couldn't have put it better myself. it's the same thing in grade school. we are taught multiplications from 1x1 to 12x12 by simply drilling it into our brains. no emphasis is put on the actual calculations just the memorization.
i`m from romania and i thought that he`ll never know the capital.... glad to see a smart little boy knows much more capitals than i do.... i know only 42 and seeing this little boy i am proud that someone is so smart at his age... congrats! :D
and please teach him the capitals of portugal, spain, france, belgium, german, italy, norway, sweden, finland, poland, denmark, czech republic, slovenia, montenegro, bulgary, luxembourg, liechtenstein and malta. i would really love to see him saying the capitals of this countries :D
This (childlike learning, right next to playing an instrument & growing up in a multilingual environment) is a *great* way of 1) increasing your child's interest in all kinds of things, 2) help your child "learn to learn" & understand to never stop learning & 3) it's also a much better way to spend time with the child than many other people do (or don't do at all).
Also, comparing a 3-years-old child with the experience of an Einstein/Hawking is just out of place & ridiculous (whoever did that).
Please stop making claims of your child being a genius, and this is the same for 99.99% of parents out there that say the same thing. Genius is not the same thing as training, conditioning or educating, which is all you have done with your son. Anyone can learn to recite a wide variety of things; not everyone can make great, revolutionary advances in physics like Stephen Hawking or Albert Einstein.
Lots of people are educated, some people are intelligent, very, very few people are geniuses.
I'm from Malaysia and to actually hear this little boy say Kuala Lumpur is just fascinating as most people don't even know where Malaysia is! YAY AWESOME KID :)
I hope this kid never grows into an evil genius. He can blow up every capital in the world off the top of his head. Just kidding. Smart kids, we need more of em'. Make more!!!
