@UBERTrickshots go to xbox preference->voice->select voice output to play through both. then you should be able to record game chat voice.

@newEaarth If you have a mac you can use Quicktime Player to record your voice, just go to file, then to new audi recording, then just use iMovie to put the clip and your voice file into one video. then click on the iMovie project and select Publish to Youtube :)

@ItsHuggies Download HD PVR capture... on EyeTV hit record for about 10 seconds.. then quit EyeTV and open HD PVR Capture.. hit record on HD PVR Capture for about 10 seconds... Close HD PVR Capture and then open EyeTV...it will be fine after that... I had the same problem

I have a question. I can go go back and start recording a clip. However, when I jump to the end and hit stop recording, it only records the 10 or so seconds of me going to the end. Do I need to watch the whole clip I want to record again, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help.

@cornmuffin55 That must have been the problem. I play on a 21" LCD computer monitor (with a VGA connection) and I think the 1650x1080 resolution isn't considered HD. As soon as I hooked my PVR up to my Xbox on a 1080p TV, it recorded fine. Thanks for the recommendation! =)

Nice tutorial. When I record I lag like hell. And when I preview to edit I lag like hell too. But when I export its fine (Check my channel EyeTV test). Hey Mate, I just bought a Hauppauge HD PVR and EyeTV, when I have everything plugged in I then go to activate EyeTV, and 3 seconds later I get a black TV screen. Also even when the USB is plugged in there is no option for it in EyeTV, and as soon as I plug the USB out my TV goes back to norma,l, with picture. I would really appreciate some help as I am hoping to get this set up pretty soon, thanks.

If you turn off enable time shift there is only 0.01 second delay so you can "game" on your laptop. However I you want just game on your mac without the tv just get an eyetv hd as it is cheaper and lacks video outputs.
