Many people may not have been born or were very young when Gil was at the height of his popularity, His songs back then are completely different from the ones on this album and are not played on radio stations . However his musical gifts are priceless no matter when or how you learn about him. Like he said "you may come full circle and be New Here Again". That exactly what Gil Scott-Heron has done.
