  • Yes. The African Street Festival is held yearly starting on July 4th Weekend into the Week. There are various vendors and Performances that take place. I believe this Yoruba Lucumi Group, Omiyesa performs every Year.

    This year it was held at a new location (The Brooklyn Navy Yard). If you're interested the Egbe Yemonja Inc is having their annual Odun Yemonja at Beach 59 at Far Rockaway Beach in Queens, NY. It's a Religious affair, but you can hear the Ritual Music, sung at Bembes (Drumming Pa
