  • I like how Harry has to fight the worst wizard ever by himself while Ron and Hermione are running from a snake...couldnt help but laugh a little.

  • 0:33 VOLDEMORT SHEDS A TEAR OMG

  • Book had a way better death. In the book, his body just falls down with a thud. In this movie, he crumbles into tiny little shreds. Why?

  • Did anyone else notice the people watching @ 0:57 and 1:35?

  • @jw2112j yup .

  • I totally would have grabbed a piece of Voldemort for my scrapbook collection.

  • Mommy!...I have a piece of Voldemort stuck in my teeth!

  • 0:20 Voldemort's last words:

    Voldemort: DIEEEEEEEEE!

    BESIDES THAT

    1:55

    Voldemort: -croaky scream-

  • 0:54...One of the best and sweetest shots from the series. Ron and Hermione fTW!!

  • 1:45..TOUCHDOWN!!

  • That would be nasty, breathing Voldy in and such...

  • I like the music in this scene because it tells you, "Wow. This is really the end of it all."

  • They should come out with Voldemort flavored breath strips (Thats what it reminds me of when he dissolves into pieces).

  • this should have been nominated for best picture. BUT NO!

  • @KaiUchiha15 Oh, speaking of which, Daniel Radcliffe was actually disappointed that the "Harry Potter" series never got any Academy Awards, especially "Deathly Hallows Part 2." *sigh* I am too... society can be so picky and disappointing

  • I like how the director did this scene, instead of Harry finishing Voldemort in front of everyone he kind of like...BITCH lets take this outside

  • I expected Voldemort's death would be like this: When Harry and Voldemort clash spells, the beam moves toward Voldemort. The ball gets bigger and bigger, releasing a huge golden glow for everyone in the Great Hall to see. The ball hits Voldemort in the chest, then the Elder Wand flips over to Harry. Then Voldemort looks up, and disintegrates into dust, not ashes, like as if he was just desert wind. Then the golden glow dissipates, and the sun rises. Harry Ron and Hermione walk back inside

  • At 0:45 did Ron use the killing curse on Nagini?

  • @Seris5000 Yeah i think so .

  • @Seris5000 yes

  • @Seris5000 well i guess ron was desperate because he was cornered with hermione so yeah i guess so

  • epic music but Voldemort's facial expressions ruin the scene for me

  • I think the movie versions of the "Deathly Hallows" were far better than the book. The book, y'all have to admit, was a tad bit rushed. The book left out some plotholes that were essential to the story.

    1) The Death Eaters attacking the shield; Voldemort destroying it; the Elder Wand cracks

    2) Voldemort swiping the Elder Wand at Snape (gives the feel that Voldemort actually killed Snape)

    3) How the curse rebounded on Voldemort

    4) The duel between Harry and Voldemort

  • @125drl oh yeah i see someone in the backround

  • Midnight showing!

  • 1,000,000 points to gryfinndor. gryfinndor wins!

  • Bellatrix's real death: They made it look like Mrs. Weasley killed her but off screen a ton of mexican children came with baseball bats and she busted into confetti.

And that is "definitely" the truth!

  • I discussed this scene with a friend of mine, after we watched the movie in theater. In the book Voldemort just falls on the ground and is dead. We thought that was important, because he is just a mortal man in the end, like everyone else. One of the most powerful statements of the story. This death scene of course looks more impressive in a movie, but it doesn't make sense in reference to the rest of the story.

  • @NJ1810 I totally agree. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was without a doubt a great movie, but it was spectacular to the point of being ridiculous. After all, Voldemort was just hit by his own Killing Curse.

  • @NJ1810 I disagree. Voldemort's death was perfect in the book, but if he just fell on the ground dead, it would've been so anticlimatic. Plus his death in the movie does make sense, it shows how damaged his soul was and that fact that he was so corrupted and evil shows he doesn't deserve a human's way of dying and in the end, he was nothing - literally in this case.

  • @MidnightsHeaven 100% agree with you !

  • HOLY SHIT at 1:33 look in the background you can see a guy back there watching the epicness!!!

  • @125drl Where ? I can't see anything ...

  • @MrHPotterPresents2 There is no person - only ruins, corpses and many dark spots which could look like a silhouettes. Don't know if it was only a mistake or just for attention.

  • @TheTimeXone Yeah . I thought the same ..

  • @MrHPotterPresents2 No there is a guy there...

  • @MrHPotterPresents2 It looks like there is , but actually there isn't .

  • @TheTimeXone

Um yeah if you look right at the background you could clearly see a guy watching it...(I think there's more people watching)

  • Comment removed

  • @MrHPotterPresents2 I think he means at 1:34

  • @125drl Watch closely. Its actually at 1:34 or 1:35 in the corridors. U see a person moving, at the second arc to the right of voldemort.

  • @mathijs At 1:35 i see people who are wathing the battle and it is normal ..

  • @125drl you can see baout 8 guys

  • @125drl I hope that wasnt a member of the crew...lol.

  • If you look realllly close starting at 1:26, you can see Voldemort's spell going back into the elder wand, causing it to glow green a bit, then causing his hand to go black.

  • 107 harry potters and 3 voldemorts

  • 107 harry potters and 3 voldemorts

  • 1:30:

    - Wand.... Y U No working???

  • 1000 point for grifondor

  • In the video, Harry wins.

In the like vs dislike bar, Voldemort wins.

  • @MaryTheSurrealist Oh yeah, I never noticed that!

  • 2:02 Notice how the last peace to disolve was his nose area.

  • 200 points for gryffindor

  • This will always get to me :'(

  • stop at 1:32

  • Now stay dead BITCH!

  • At the end , the Dislike bar win this match .

  • Um? 50 points Gyffindor?

  • Poor Tom, he never had friends or love :(

  • @125drl

Well, he didnt even want them.

  • 1:32

    DERP MA MAGIC?! D:

  • What a shitty boring death scene.

  • @globogs

    Agreed.

  • >.> I can't believe you guys all like this video... look at the like and dislike bar! Voldemort totally pwned Harry on Youtube.

  • 1:12 harry is like OH YEAH BABY!!!

  • Voldemort got smoked xD

  • Voldemort got Silent Hill's darkening :D

  • GOOD VIDEO

  • Have a nice life in hell, Voldemort.

  • @11ben1000

he doesn't go to hell. he will continue to exist in the form of the creature Harry saw in the limbo state after he died.

  • @Florinu12k no, that creature is the piece of voldemort's soul that had been living in Harry for 17 years, not voldemort himself. I dont believe he could go anywhere or become a visible ghost, since he had done so much horrible things and divided his soul into so many pieces just to keep himself "immortal". Literally, he has no soul left inside of him. Now his body is destroyed, the soul pieces won't be able to reunite, and he is gone forever, both body and mind.

  • 1:07 The vulnerability in Ralph's face, so perfect! Almost human. What a phenomenal actor!

  • i love the way harry grins at 1:51 :)))

    AMAZING MOVIE

  • Voldemort's dead?... PARTY TIME!!

  • Comment removed

  • avada kedavra!!! expelliarmus!!!!!! fffffffffffffffcckkkkkkkkkk!!!!

  • Confetti!

  • @AllynEntertainment Nope, lord voldemort.

  • i wish that ron and hermione was watching this happen......

  • OMG if you look behind those arches on the wall behind Voldemort and Harry at 1:33, and look at the arch two places right of Voldemort, there is a black shape that looks like a hunch backed person standing there watching the battle. Who is that? If it's a director or a cameraman or something then FAIL. Or maybe it's meant to be Snape's ghost or something.

  • @TsoLan1 theres actually several people watching from there, like 5 more in the next couple arches over.

  • @jasonmg99 yeah I saw the others, but I couldn't decide if they were people or not.

  • Hold on.... Almost every single time Volders dies.... He turns to stone and then crumbles.... Hmmmm.................

  • did ron attept the killing curse against nagini

  • @youso91 Sure looks like it. The beam that came out of his wand was green, and the killing curse is, as far as I know, the only spell that has a green beam. Not sure how the snake was able to shrug it off like that though

  • @TheLightningmikester Coz its a Horcrux

  • @youso91 yes,a beam of green light came out from his wand, but Nagini is equipped with the same protections that voldemort gave

  • The fact that Voldemort disintegrates in the movie is very poetic in my opinion. Not only did it echo the death of Quirrell, nut it also showed how Voldemort's body could not support the weight of it's own existence due to being created through a dark, archaic ritual that essentially made Voldemort's working body into a humanoid, breathing Horcrux.

  • really enjoy the way harry laughs when voldemort is about to die!! :)

  • For the record I think the Harry and Voldemort standoff in the film is incredible with some of the best music I've ever heard from a composer, and Radcliffe's acting is phenomenal especially on the close up shots of him while he and Voldemort's spells are connected. It's awesome stuff. You'd almost think that people would rather the screen just flip through the pages with some narrator or something.

  • That's why they're called "film adaptations" because it's taking the plot in the books and presenting them in a cinematic fashion. It's not about "filming every page" in the book and because of that you're going to lose stuff. The Potter films have fantastic things going on cinematically and people need to stop comparing them to a medium that is different in every conceivable way imaginable.

  • They were about as good as cinematic logic would allow them to be. A writer has all the pages they want to stuff full of material but a film has to stick with the core storyline, which the films did, and they were beautifully shot. Filmmakers don't share the same luxury that authors do and people need to seriously realize this. When judging a film try to look at the cinematography, acting, music-- all the quintessential elements that make up a film. It's a very different medium altogether.

  • @firerisesxbl

I know, but I just disagree with a lot of choices Kloves and Yates made with the last two films. Points in the story that I thought of as emotional climaxes were glazed over---they felt almost rushed, as if Yates didn't feel they were important. I'm referring in particular to Ron and Harry's falling out and reconciling. I was surprised at how rushed and halfhearted that felt.

HUGE exception: Snape's death. The movie actually made it even MORE emotional than the book.

  • IF someone could explain this to me that would be helpful, why would both beletrix and voldemort burst into ashes (just an expression) i could understand if just voldemort did but then again getting hit with the avada kedavra doesnt disinegrate you... they explained in the other movies that your soul has nothing to do with your body when you go on. so i think they needed to rethink that.

  • @skillkid115 Beletrix was temprarily frozen, I believe she was literally frozen so thats how she burst apart into peices!.

Voldemort on the other hand used Horcruxes which was keeping him alive, he was supposed to die years before the first movie even started and it was said that using the Horcruxes would scar your soul (Also the reason he has pale skin and no nose)

  • Voldemort made 3 accounts and disliked this

  • No, Chuck Testa

  • a fitting end for voldemort. just like quirrell

  • Why in the end there's emotional music ?! I start todance when Voldy dies .. !

  • @TurkeyFinland The music is called Lily's theme. Which they played to show us that without Lily's sacrifice, Harry would never have defeated Voldemort :)

  • @littlemissginny1 Well I guess you're right .. umm.. you said that Voldemor.. Oh, I mean Dark Lord is defeated ?! Oh merlin's beard I was the newest death eater and now my Voldy is dead :(((

  • Best part is whn Neville is a Badass.

  • Ok, here's what I think.

Neville AND Harry are BOTH the chosen ones. If Neville had not killed that snake, and Harry would have died, as well as Ron and Hermione, and the thousands of others who would have died if Voldemort lived.

So in a way, Neville is also the chosen one..... at least that's what I think.

  • @jerrytrainor456 Well neville was also the other "possible" chosen one of the prophecy, since they were both born around the same time if I recall. It would be either harry or neville, but it turned out to be harry.

  • So just a guess, I'm assuming Gryffindor won the House Cup after this?

  • @roguetrip99 Thats a pretty wild guess.

  • @roguetrip99 They one the House Cup for all eternity for this!

  • During Voldemort's death scene you have to remember off all Harry Potter movies, deaths, tragedys, friendships and so on.

    Best feeling :D

  • Anyone else besides me see him on broadway he was awesome.

  • YAAAAY! All the other death scenes on youtube sucks!! YAY, THIS ONE'S IN HD!!

  • "Tom Riddle hit the ground with a mundane finality" That is what was written in the book. And as much as it cracks me up to see Ralph Finnes bald turn to ashes....how the hell is this mundane?!

  • @joycehamya Well, if it ended like that, in cinematic terms, Voldermort's death would have been pretty anticlimactic. The way it ends - him slowly shriveling up before dissolving into ash - is very cinematic and even poetic.

  • dont cha just wanna slap the back of Voldy's head?

  • Finally this shit money making series is over.

  • @FranticFatality yeah i agree. im not sure how you feel about the books, but these films do not hold up to them in the slightest bit.

  • Comment removed

  • why would voldemort trust in a snake to keep him alive

  • No.... NOW it's done.

  • Neville just goes full badass and steals the show. XD

  • WOOOW! i turned the volume up really loud, with earphones in 1:16 sounds A M A Z I N G!!!!

  • Lol at whoever mentioned the abundance of rocks!

  • Worst. Sunburn. Ever.

  • Justice! his an egg head with no eyebrows

  • 1:36 -- (We finally realize, we won!) I stand in awe, tears falling from my face!

  • 1:32 look at Voldemort's face :-D

  • Voldemort: Harry Potter.... the boy who lived.... come to die.....

    (Few hours later)

    Harry Potter: NOPE!

  • its just a bit dissapointing, i wantd to see voldemort SUFFER!!

  • @nils610 I think the process of being torn into little pieces by some unseen force may have hurt him a little bit.

  • @TsoLan1 but after all he has done.. i expected a bit more action in it.

i really want to see and hear clear he suffers.

  • @nils610 For fuck sake man you are complaining about nothing, he don't suffer at all in the book, he is killed instantly and in this clip you can clearly see him suffer. If this film dosen't satisfy your creepy fetish for people suffering then watch Saw or something.

  • @TsoLan1 those people didnt even do something wrong..

voldemort killed thousands of people.. so i want a bit of revenge, not just to satisfy myself.

i know for sure there are other peeps think the same way.

any way, why are you so complaining about My comments, its my opinion so shut up!

    (BTW: i don't read books)

  • @nils610: (BTW: I don't read books)

     ^

No I didn't think you did somehow.

Also, you are taking this far too seriously. What would satisfy you? If Voldemort was forced into eating his own bodily waste whilst slowly bleeding to death? Have you never heard of Age Certificates?

  • @TsoLan1 a scream would already have made it much better, thats an expression of suffering and pain too.

you think i expect his head be chopped off?

  • @nils610 He did scream... Everything you are asking for is in this scene... Go complain about something else.

  • @TsoLan1 more like a little sigh.. u may need to let ur ears be checked.

in any way... stop replying cos ur comments to mine make no sense at all.

  • @nils610 I shall stop replying but I fail to see why you are complaining about this scene... He does suffer and therefore your fetish is fufilled fulfilled

  • @TsoLan1 well, see the answer i have given to the other one that replies to me.

  • @nils610 Look just drop it will you, I had stopped commenting, your just causing unnessecary trouble. Nut up and shut up. He did suffer for his nastiness, you can clearly see that now go complain about something worth complaining about.

  • @TsoLan1 just damn stop relying, if u dont then ive to reply, idiot.

just damn leave this comment alone if u don't like it.

and stop beeing such a fool to complain 2 weeks about someone's comments.

don't u have better things to do. i guess so.

    The end, finito, finished, done.

  • @nils610 my advice is to go and read the book, the ending is slightly different and Voldemort certainly dies with the bang that you want - highly advise you read the book; Its pure awesome

  • @xtinamadonnafan just don't look at my comment then.

i have given my opinion and thats that.

i won't reply to any other comments anymore as i see it is coming nowhere.

  • @nils610 If you wanted revenge that much, you clearly understand little of the spirit of this franchise.

  • @Tripicality i know what they mean with this scene obviously.

but after 7 movies of challenging i had expected more, is it that strange?!

  • 1:29

    Voldemort: The F**K?!

  • 1:29 voldemorts like "Oh crap"

  • Loved every bit of Voldemort's expressions, but this has got to be the most, most, most anti-climactic villain defeat ever. Just a small "whoosh" and Voldemort was gone? I was hugely let down. It is for this one ending that I refer to the book time and again.

  • @whoddaya What are you talking about? It was way more than a small "whoosh". The entire scene is over two minutes!

  • Harry's determined at 0:38 to win against Voldemort. You can do it Harry!

  • Comment removed

  • i was like "yeah hes dead we win! fuck yeahhh its over!!! :D" then the next scene everyone was like "what ever"....biggest let down since the rapture -_-

  • am i the only one who felt sorry for voldermort

  • @xboxgamer9991 I kind of felt sorry for him. Looks like he's in a bit of discomfort at 1:52-1:58

  • so many rocks.... everywhere

  • I kinda felt sorry for Voldemort, because once Neville killed the snake you saw it in his eyes and he knew if he didnt defeat Harry HE WILL DIE and it was serious, but as we know he was is a no-win situation and as it has been pointed out both Wands were against him so it was a ultimate fail.

  • voldemort disliked this.

  • he wasn't even able to get a proper nose

  • even though i liked it, if they stuck to the book could have been so much better

  • So. fucking. lame.

This last movie was so horrendous and yet the Potter fangirls praise it. Dumb bitches.

  • @Curseco fangirls my butt. everyone and their mothers loved this shit. pt1 was perfect then pt2 was rushed followed by pure let down as voldemort dies yet fascinating enough nobody seemed to care nor show any emotion at all to his death. if i were a dictator id demand they remake the end so theres actualy 2 fucks given this time that voldemorts dead and things can be good again

  • I don't get it. How did he die? Was it because of Neville? Or what?

  • @Raanngel It was a combination of Neville killing the snake ( the last Horcrux ) thus making Voldemort mortal , and then the Elder Wand turning on Voldemort because it's true master was Harry. The Elder Wand wouldn't kill it's true master so it killed Voldemort . In the book the wand killed Voldemort by rebounding his curse at him , then it spun in the air to Harry. Harry had the advantage in the final battle because he had the allegiance of both wands.

  • @cisio64123 If you look closely you can see Voldy's own blast heading right towards him as Harry's overwhelmes his. Also if you look at his wand, it turns green and the rest of his arm changes black. So his own curse was redirected on him thus killing him.

  • @jujuman94 wow man mean as fuck lol calm down not everybody knows all about Harry Potter

  • Omg if any of the Star Wars movies had been recorded with this kind of technology. Wow. Love this scene btw!

  • Voldemort's death is so LOTR.

  • Wow, Voldy sure went down like a little bitch here.

  • Nobody ever thinks of poor old Filch. Guess who had to clean up the flakes.

  • @TheImprobableOne000 I would have kept some of the ashes in a jar and sold them for millions of galleons.

  • voldemort flakes!

  • @XPhil190 now there's a cereal you wanna avoid XD
