i have a question i thought when u get the bare minerals it comes with two foundations and which one do u use for the concealer? I have just bought the starter kit after the lady put it in my face at the mall. I'm excited!!!!

Nice video! But I didn't get bare minerals, because I believe that its only really good for clear skined people who want to wear something to hide redness and conceal under eye circles and stuff. not for people with blemishes really :/

@MAGandGAB Thats not true. I used to think exactly the same way because i had bad acne and thought it would make it more pronounced. My skin isnt perfectly clear and it will never be, but just try to get it clear enough so that you feel comfortable in foundation. I use Proactiv, their new fromula really works better. You can use whatever method to clear ur skin, whatever works for you. Then i recommend you get the bare minerals in matte, it has minerals that helps clear acne. God bless!

I'm Asian - Indian (well actually Bangladeshi) but yeh, and i'v been recommended by the make up artists that Medium Tan is for my skin, and i'm BROWN? so how does that work

@BandiTxQueeN i really find that strange, i'm actually of indian decent as well, but i'm fair, not like white fair, if i use the medium shades, it actually looks brown on my skin, and i have to use light, even though i know i'm not as light as they are. hmm. it's like that with me with other brands of makeup as well.

Doesnt it dry your face at all? I have dry skin and no matter how well i moisturize when i use mineral foundation it just makes my face itchy, only good thing its very lightweight and doesnt get into the pores. I guess im doing something wrong.. :/

@rexandlef no I had the same exact problem, I ALWAY had to use liquid foundation...but a friend of mine showed me bare minerals and its not really a powder, It is pretty creamy to the touch...It conceals and hides dry skin, and after a while of use the dryness goes awy, its SO good for your skin!

I had the hardest time putting on other makeups before to hide my dry skin but after bare minerals and now I cant even imagine wearing liquid makeup...

GO GET IT!!! Beleive me it works!

@giodanielle no the concealer is just the foundation, but you use it with the little concealer brush. the mineral veil is for after everything, it acts as a setting powder.

how do you get bare minerals to actually stay on. Mine doesn't stay on very all at all- and i use prime time and the mineral veil!! I have dry skin so oil doesn't just absorb it. Could it be that i put on to much product? And yes i buff it on with a kabuki brush.

good job! That is exactly how I apply my bare minerals! But I have a tip for you (cuz I've been using bareminerals for 6 years now)...instead of tapping powder into the lid, take your brush and barely skim the top of the powder and then tap the brush into the lid, then swirl and tap...you will save so much powder and money! (you have to be careful not to get too much powder on the brush at the beginning, but if you do you can just tap out the excess)

For sure! been using bare minerals for 6 years now and I have acne scars and redness....the product you want is bisque...its a tiny bit heavier than the bm foundation and is the best cover bm sells. Put your foundation on first, then use bisque in a shade lighter than your foundation and put it on trouble spots. you will love the coverage! The foundation by itself also does a good job of covering, but bisque is excellent!

i was a fan of bare minerals for about 3 years!! but realized i was allergic to it! it has the element bismuth oxychloride which most women are actually allergic to!! It makes your skin itchy, especially in teh sun, and causes cystic acne. AfterGlow cosmetics is a lot better, but i like the colors that bare minerals have better..

well thats weird...it should cover everything.. the rever upper should help some because its like a primer.. but be sure to use the conceler brush too! thats the real magic!!
