How many can you do with good form? I assume you were trying to do the NFL bench press combine drill since you used 225 lbs. However They would of gave you a score of 0 since your not allowed to arch your back in that drill.

@Tobb3able not at 225...higher weights will cause injury, I didnt mean necessarily lock but right below locking. He atleast had another 4 inches he could have pushed that bar up on most of the reps....Personally I don't do higher weight and only do reps below 300lbs, but with good form(lower back stays flat on the bench), I can knock out a solid 30 reps at 225, and elbows are just below locking out for each rep.

the slower the rep is done the harder it is. so doing 6 fast reps with a certain wieght even if they are correct its harder to do 6 slow reps the same weight and doing it correct. so even if you want to look strong you should perform excercises slowly for best muscle build

Your posture isn't worth shit dude. Your back is arched, your not lying flat on the bench, you aren't doing full reps. I can only do 225 for 5 reps but at least mine are with good posture and with full reps.
I honestly only count like 5 or 6 of those only because there wasn't full extension, if you do that at a combine they're gonna say the same thing and not count any of them until you get full extension. full extension I give you 15-20 maybe.

Your posture isn't worth shit dude. Your back is arched, your not lying flat on the bench, you aren't doing full reps. I can only do 225 for 5 reps but at least mine are with good posture and with full reps.

I honestly only count like 5 or 6 of those only because there wasn't full extension, if you do that at a combine they're gonna say the same thing and not count any of them until you get full extension. full extension I give you 15-20 maybe.

@BlackHawkDown407 why would you go full extension while doing those reps anyway? when you lock out it releases muscel activity and it makes a difference, you want the reps nd range of motion constant. lockout isnt too healthy for your joints either if your gunna do it a shit load of times

The worst form i have ever seen on a bench press and most definately not the strongest bench press. watch one of the worlds strongest men, derek poundstone press 500lb with perfect from. thats how to do it!

this is the correct form he only rush it to much....
if you try doing like 75% of ur max press and do it like this form u wont make it anywhere near the same amout of repetition u whould do it if u extend your arms, because when you extend your arms you give your mucles rest betwean the repetitions. my point is this form is heavyer to do cause ur mucles is constant under press instead of the rest u get betwean the repetition.
