  • How many can you do with good form? I assume you were trying to do the NFL bench press combine drill since you used 225 lbs. However They would of gave you a score of 0 since your not allowed to arch your back in that drill.

  • @Tobb3able not at 225...higher weights will cause injury, I didnt mean necessarily lock but right below locking. He atleast had another 4 inches he could have pushed that bar up on most of the reps....Personally I don't do higher weight and only do reps below 300lbs, but with good form(lower back stays flat on the bench), I can knock out a solid 30 reps at 225, and elbows are just below locking out for each rep.
