two points,

I want to get a little skin removed from my man boob area. and possibly a little lipo just so I could see my abs, I worked really hard on them but I still cant see them because I carry all my weight upstairs. Do you think thats shallow? I would also like to get my eyesight corrected and my chest hair lasered, cause women dont like chest hair these days. Thats a recent development in the 70s john travoilta and burt reynolds were the ideal for male chests.

Eyesight correction is not cosmetic! Chest hair is fine. Do you eat a lot of soy? Vitamin E cream might also help with the loose skin! I am not absolutely against minor cosmetic surgery really - just all the extreme stuff that people are having.

I dont eat much soy that I am aware of , I enjoy soy sauce on chinese food but thats bout it.. Does it help firm skin?

No soy apparently stimulates production of oestrogen (estrogen) which isn't so helpful in a man. Apparently it's in a lot of products, hidden, especially in the US - and it might contribute to weight gain in some people too. It might help your skin but it won't help the fat deposits in certain areas. People should check packaging more carefully. If you use protein shakes etc you might inadvertently be doing the opposite to what you want as they are very likely to contain soy.

I heard that scientists think that the pill has had an effect on women and somehow made them prefer more feminine features on men. Thats true look at jude law or brad pitt for example. I'm not sure why that would be though. Maybe if you dont have to worry about the protection of offspring you can do it with any girly man with no consequence, whereas hairy men are seen as brutish. I like girls who smell nice. I wonder if the asthetics of scents ever goes in or out of fashion.

I don't mind chest hair at all but I also like more girly looking men sometimes - though maybe not too girly. I don't think the pill is to blame for my liking Johnny Depp. Smelling nice is always a good thing! I don't really like stubble on a man's face but that's not a visual thing - it looks fine - I just get a rash from kissing stubbly faces!

The idea that the hourglass figure ever went out of fashion is a media fallacy. Yes that is what we are bombarded with but it is only because we have a bunch of gay style gurus that are telling us that is what is "in". Which is kind of weird because I happen to know a lot of gay men who still find breasts attractive even if they aren't attracted to women.

I've very rarely met a guy that doesn't like that shape.

I think it might be because that type of figure is impossible with out either good genes or a lot of corsetry! It's a difficult thing to try to aspire to, and it's not really dependent on what weight you are, just what shape. And though there are specialist corset makers they are not really the powerful people in fashion these days! (Exceptions - Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier) . Diets are easier to market since they are just promoting 'thin' not shapely.

The manufactured pop stars are getting prettier mostly - though there are quite a lot of peculiar or quirky looking artists too. They also seem to get press because of their looks though.

This objective test has been shown to concur with consensus opinion of models phwoar factor. Fashion is more about conformity. Have you noticed that people who wear non-conforming clothes or hair styles are seen as trend-setters if they are pretty (or have a retinue of pretty people), yet weirdoes if they are ugly.

Our owners tap into the trensetter influence to indoctrinate us with images of impossible ideals. You have to be made unhappy by the use of people who look impossibly attractive.

i think one reason a lot of people seem overly concerned with their body image is that rationality seems to take a back seat when there is such a strong genetic drive to be sexually attractive. also mainstream media, perticularly the crap aimed at teenagers, is really irrisponsible in their relentless promotion/enabling of obsession with physicality.. it's pretty disgusting in my book. causes a hell of a lot of completely unneccesary misery...

I think men have this problem too - ina different way. There appear to be two different ways a guy can look to be attractivethese days - the gig muscley 27-hours-a-day-in-the-gym kind or the super skinny body-of-a-10-year-old kind. The first one is really hard to achieve cause it takes so much effort and the second is hard to achieve cause u need to not eat and have a really weedy frame.

I find both hard cause im too lazy to be big, but im way to curvy (for a guy) to be the latter lol

When I used to go to TV junkets some of the female presenters for places like the Disney channel sometimes freaked me out - they usually look fairly healthy on TV but in person they are terrifyingly thin. We are at the beginning of cosmetic surgery and the methods used at the moment are every, in the future things like cutting muscle will not take place. Of course the man that a way of stopping the brown adipose fat from leaking from female will be mega rich. There a paradox about women in the empathize on being pretty and the contra disliking of their body. A classic case of a conflict of emotions. I think some people look vary nice "over waite" I am normaly vary small but I have seen girl my age not eat to get to my waite they can't get to it tho I have small bones.
