This comedy duo will be missed by all. Thank you for posting this as it brings back good memories and always leaves you with a good feeling. And of course it goes without saying a BIG THANK YOU to eric and ernie for the many years they gave to all of us.

They (Beatles) have obviously been told to behave. John and George are ok, Paul is a long way out of his comfort zone. He's probably been having bizarre dreams about a woman with one leg...
Yeah superb, just watched again and realised that Eric is dressed up as a Beatle, probably Bongo, at the end. 'Big Fat Airy Eads'. Qaulity! They were naturally funny guys. Wish I had been around then to see them for real! A unique talent. The Beatles weren't bad either! Ha-Hay!!
John had a tendency to be over-negative in conversation, but I think he was an excellent comedian when the mood caught him. Some of his writing is very funny.
@Neliana lol John and George were funny, they knew how to have fun and joke along with people .. they were naturals .. Morecambe and ise, they brought sunshine to anyone and everyone that they met :)
Brought a tear to my eye. The fantastic beatles alongside 2 of Englands finest comedians. This vid shows how good some of the earlier comedians were. Thank you for posting this vid, your a Gem!!
LOL, I know what you mean ;) This and the other video I put up mad me cave to buy it. Haven't regretted it and I love to watch it when I have the time *grins*
LOL I love this, I have the album (The Beatles, Anthology One, Disc Two) that this is on (Tracks 6 and 7) And it's had me laughing since I first heard it. Nice to finally be able to SEE it. LOL
John: We're the ones with the big, fat, hairy heads.

The greatest entertainers that the UK has ever produced.....and The Beatles as well. Long live the memories of Eric and Ernie.

We lost Eric in 1984 and Ernie in 1999. AIFL I was there when they were around, they starred in the Cop Show The Sweeney, some time between 1974-79.

John is next to Ernie, on your right as you watch the vid, you're obviously not a real Beatles fan, my nine yr old knows more than you.

I've been listening to this on the Anthology and could hardly picture it. Was this on the Anthology DVD?

Eric and Earnie Scripted and rehearsed 10000% they never let room for real ad libs - they would have given the Beatles a script -

Well, it was a DVD and I put on the subtitles in case people couldn't understand what they were saying...

I know! It's seems like he's one of the only people who ever got a one-up on John Lennon.

Yeah, I think comedy isn't immeadiatly their thing. John and George a little bit but Paul looks too forced. Good show though!
