its sad, that very few people speak Portuguese in the current time in Goa in-spite of 451 years of rule.. and it being a Diamond of Portugal.. but never the less the language is still alive among the goan catholics.and I am proud to belong to one them. I can't hear any Portuguese words there... I suppose Portuguese is almost extinct in Goa by now (2011). Could anybody tell us about the situation of this language in current Goa?
