wayyyyy before doctor who, she was discovered around 15 and released her first sinlge "because we want too" in 1998 in the UK, Britney spears realsed a month after her (in case you were wonderin) and released her album in the US a few months later, sadly she went unnoticed because of Britney's "Hit me baby one more time" but she was HUGE in the UK. Then her last album was realsed in 2000 titled "walk of life" then in 2005 she ended up on Doctor who! there ya go! :)

@shanstar190 If we want to get technical no, it's not the original. It's the original that was on the CD and released. However there is an early version that was nixed for some reason. Probably because they wanted to improve the song. That's what we always did when I worked as an actress. If something worked on paper, but then it just didn't sound right or the actor couldn't do it we'd have to improv and come up with a new line to say in its place. Singing and music is much the same way.
