I agree. I use sarcasm quite alot when I really think about it. However I only use it to a point as to not over step boundries and also the fact that some people think saying anything they want about another person under the guise of a joke is ok really annoys me.
As I recall, John Knowles's "A Separate Peace" describes Sarcasm as a tool of the weak. I use it sparingly. I have seen even playful overtures taken wrong, and cause trouble. I once wrote an editorial in the local paper, it was sarcastic and was taken so literally (retrospectively, likely due to the simple fact it was in print) it was a shocking and memorable learning experience for me. Sarcasm is like salt.. a pinch for spice, ..too much is going to send the old blood pressure for a loop!
I am fifty fifty about this...I use it when I meet people who are equally sarcastic...but when you know that someone won't get your sarcasm, and you do it anyways...then you're a coward!
people that have confidence in themselves speak boldly and clearly...sarcasm is a sign that the person may not feel confident enough to speak their thoughts!
I know, sick little jokes aren't funny... But sometimes sarcasm is exactly what is needed... Sometimes people are just too PC, too careful... Striking a balance is the hard thing, but it definitely can be done...
if I think about myself how wary I was to leave a comment in the beginning when I first entered yt...not sure how another would interpret my comments. I adore a healthy sarcasm, but in my case it is also that pesky problem of language sometimes...I can't express myself in english as well as i can in dutch or greek, and granted I have made my bloopers... we should think well before we leave a comment, however the receiver could also ask the commenter what he/she exactly means.
Are you dying? This video is really old so you must be dead.

Good call mate, i know what you mean about the license to say what want as long as you`re `joking`. It`s something that shouldn`t be abused.
