I bought it at Walmart for $1400.00. However, I'm dissapointed that the photos I took doesn't look famous with color to me even after I tried HDR in Photoshop. This camera is not for professional. I have to take it back. Any suggestions on which model to get for the pro? 60D is a good camera, but I don't think it's for me.

Hard to rationalise an upgrade from a T2i to a 60D. They are almost the same thing except for the build quality and the 2 screens.

Despite the body design and screen, how is the 60D different from the 550D? If that's the only difference, I don't think it's worth spending so much more than the 550D.

@thetechnoexpert That's the only real difference, they have the same Video Quality and the exact same image quality. Him paying $1000 just for a flip out screen etc is a big mistake he might as well have done a more worthwhile upgrade.

And do not forget the manual audio controls. Best feature of the 60D in my opinion.

If you don't mind investing in EF-S lenses or your not too old school, then I think having a crop frame camera like the 60D is perfect. 7D is a bit of an overkill if you are not maximizing it ie professional photography with telephoto lenses (an area where 1.6 crop sensor cameras excel)

I love landscape photography, close ups, night photography, so I am hoping to get a 5D mk2 at some point.

Noooo....there is something wrong with that video. I own the GH2 and the footage is a lot better. Do yourself a favor and check out the GH2 Vimeo group's videos and tell me differently. Look at the ones that feature the Vöigtlander f/0.95 lens or a Leica lens and you'll be amazed at how good the video quality is. Many critics agree that it is the first HDSLR to have sharper videos than the 5Dmkii.

In addition, check out eyepatchentertainmen's videos on YouTube about the GH2.

I have the T2i and haven't found a way to use autofocus while recording (I haven't yet found this particular item in the manual). It would be good if you cover this -- whether it can autofocus while video recording -- with the 60D. Thanks! Keep up the good vids.
