@danieljonesnc Because as the man said we would recognize it from other people, the woman can recognize a whole or half a cat, but not while drawing them herself, so if you where to draw half a cat but not realize it and show it to some one, they would recognize it, even if they didn't recognize that they where doing the same thing.

im not joking here, i good test they could have done with the "blind" guy that cant see but is aware. they could have him close his left eye, only keeping his right eye open (so to him he cant see anything but his mind is actually still seeing out of the right eye) and then do a flinch test like pretend to punch him in the right eye that is still open, and his body will flinch even though to him, he never saw you striking the punch.
